Another Win from Dice Throne!
Dice Throne as a whole is a very imaginative and interactive table top rpg. Santa vs Krampus is just wonderfully crafted and lots of fun to play! Many characters to choose from in this universe, and I appreciate that all of them can interact with others, regardless of which set they come from. Beautiful artwork, dynamic backstories and features, and easy to follow instructions. Varying degrees of difficulty depending on which players you select. A family favorite for us!

The Best Yahtzee Like Game
Best two player box out of all of Dice Throne. So I personally own all of the Dice Throne boxes and this one in my opinion is the best one. You have two characters that I personally think are so much. That being said it is not beginner friendly it's a bit difficult but once you see how it works and the game works this game is fun, fast, and super tactical. You have many ways to pull out combos and the design is so clean. You basically play yahtzee for different abilites to activate and tokens to shoot out, to either slow down your opponent or deal some major damage to them. It's so much fun and really great. I personally think you could teach this to teens, I think that's the age range since it's a bit difficult to catch on but still so worth it. When you open the box they also come in cute trays that put everything in place your dice have a special area and tokens so you could easily get a game going right away. This series is amazing but this box for the characters just is the best and I'll quickly explain. Cursed Pirate is amazing, one of the best characters ever she has a powerful array of tokens to activate bombs and fun abilities. But her main thing is doubloons and then if she doesn't have any of them left she will then turn into a fully cursed pirate this is such a fun system and let's you do crazy damage. The Artificer is kinda similar to feeling like a powerhouse but in a sort of you have all the choices you just choose which one. You basically get bots that will make you do so much more than you expect and it's fun. You can heal with them deal more damage, even deal more damage with nanites. He's just fun and has tons of options. Finally it's 10/10. Masterpiece 100%

Treant is definitely my favorite
Dice Throne is one of my favorite tabletop games, and this set is no exception. The Treant and Ninja characters are well balanced and offer very different play styles. The components are high quality, with thick cards and solid dice. The rulebook is clear, and games are easy to learn but still strategic. This is a great standalone box or an addition to an existing Dice Throne collection.

My favorite Dice Throne characters!
Cursed Pirate and Artificer are my two favorite characters at the moment, and I’m up to 7 sets now! Note - these two are not for Dice Throne newbies!! Both are slightly more complex characters, though I don’t personally think Artificer is actually as complex as its complexity rating of 6, and in fact I find Cursed Pirate more strategically difficult. If you’ve never played, though, it’s definitely worth the money. One of the most fun board games I’ve ever played, and without a doubt the best designed! Easy to learn but difficult to master, the characters are all balanced and interesting, and it’s a great mix of luck and strategy to keep things interesting and still challenging. Even the packaging is designed within an inch of its life (so many small things like easy little indentations in the dice trays to make picking up the dice easier, or the fact that they made it such that one side of the box is meant to be displayed vertically and the other horizontally).

Balance needed
The quality of the materials and dice are all very good. The boards are made of solid cardboard. Game is not too hard to play, but also just super random. Barbarian gets wrecked by moon elf quite easily, could use some balancing

Nature vs. Stealth
When my husband and I pulled out Dice Throne: Treant v Ninja, I had no idea what I was getting into. He’s always the first to jump into the action, and I’m usually the one asking, “Wait, what’s that symbol again?” But this time, we were both instantly sucked in. Treant’s nature-based powers and the Ninja’s stealthy strikes make for a seriously fun face-off. It’s like an epic battle between ancient wisdom and modern speed, and trust me, it gets very competitive. I’ll admit, I’m a fan of the strategy and decision-making—it’s not just about rolling dice, but about timing your moves and reading your opponent. My husband, however, was much more excited about the insane combos he kept pulling off with the Ninja. The game setup was quick and easy, and the pace kept us engaged without ever feeling rushed. We’ve had a lot of fun with this one, even if I can’t always beat him (yet). It’s the perfect mix of strategy, humor, and chaos. Highly recommend for a date night that’s equal parts intense and hilarious!

It's just as fun as you think
These two characters were part of the kickstarter gratuity kit. So happy to see it was released and it arrived just in time for Christmas. These characters play well against each other and the pre-existing characters. And also makes some funny matchups. These characters can play against or with each other in teams. Fun for the whole family. If you love board games you should look into the entire dice Throne relm.
