Mars Professional Hairpuller and Hemostat, Rounded Tips, Surgical Grade Stainless Steel and Locking Mechanism, 4.5" Length

I purchased the 6.25" version. These do not have a ratcheting clamp on the handle, like the other variety available on this listing. There is also no indication of the Mars brand on the hemostat itself, nor the packaging. The yellow/black vinyl packaging envelope is simply marked "Germany" with a UPC code of 7 01470 44653 3. To be fair, this hemostat looks nice; it is well polished and has a flush mounted screw for the hinge. However, it does not grasp hairs for dog grooming. The two halves do not grip evenly, and there is a bit of wiggle room as they close. I recommend looking elsewhere, especially for the price. Since it doesn't function as described, they are being returned.

Worthless. If you need to do something besides pull hair these may be for you, however if you need them to pull hair... these do not work at all.

Excellent for cleaning hair from our long haired dog!
