I bought this to try to vanish a big bruise on my arm but read that it's also good for soreness. The day after it arrived, my adult son mentioned that his lower back was hurting a LOT from doing a heavy job he wasn't used to, and that his thighs were also really sore. He agreed to let me rub this arnica 95% into his lower back and he reluctantly agreed. Within a few minutes, he was doing stretches to see if he could tell any difference, and the back pain was GONE. Not better, GONE. To further experiment, he applied some to the sorest one of his thighs, and soon after said that that thigh had almost no pain left, but the other one was still very sore. He said, "I don't know if these results are from the product or just a placebo effect, but whichever one it is, it worked!" We are not homeopathic advocates or frequent users of those kinds of unproven products. We're more the Tylenol, Motrin, BenGay kind of folks, but my bruise is noticeably lighter today after just a few quick applications of this product, and my son feels much less sore. Take from that what you will. :)

Pleasant scent, soothing menthol action, effective short-term topical relief; I bought this to replace an arnica product that became unavailable and am happy with the results The gel absorbs into the skin with some rubbing and leaves the surface dry. Bought the larger size after trying out the smaller ..

I recently tore my meniscus and used this gel to reduce the swelling and help with the pain. It did both and I am still using it after a week because it feels so good on my knee! The smell is very nice, love the cooling effect and it drys very quickly! If I had one criticism, it would be that's a bit thin and wish it was of thicker consistency. Would definitely recommend to family & friends!!

I am on long term prednisone, so I bruise very easily. This arnica gel seems to work as well as can be expected. While it doesn't erase the bruises, it does appear to speed it along in disappearing. This very large jar will last me a while!
