I love this hammock! It's adorable and soft and the double hammock thing is super cool. Unfortunately, it seems to be too small for my ferret. She loves hammocks and soft beds but she won't touch this. I think its much more suited for rats or sugar gliders!

I have ordered these hammocks over and over. Very plush and warm. My squirrel loves them. They wash well and are pretty sturdy considering a wild thing nests in it. The only downside is the suspension is a little weak and she loves to chew them off. I reinforce with grommets so it is heavy duty and chew resistant. They last for months with regular washes.

Bought this for squirrels that I rehab. Oh my goodness, they love it. Very easy to assemble and great quality. It keeps them warm and cozy. Easy to throw into the wash to clean.

I gave the review 3 stars because: 1. The item is made well enough. 2. Hangs well in the cage. Not 5 stars because a ferret does not fit so well. (Actually, not at all. Maybe only his butt LOL) I tried shoving his fuzzy butt into it and since he is so long and much bigger than a sugar glider or hamster, his head fell out the other side. He just looked at me like I was insane, dooked at me for shoving him in the hammock, and never returned to the hammock again. The headline states that it is designed to fit a ferret. "...Hammock Bed Hideout for Rat Sugar Glider Ferret Squirrel…". Guess the manufacturer's designers and marketing folks (most likely not in the USA - and we all know where I'm referring to) have never owned a ferret.

I usually buy from a self employed pet item distributor for a bit more money. The span must be different from the others I've purchased so I had to make changes on the clips. It seems soft and normally they start getting tasted about 12 days after installed. If I can find a better clipping solution I will buy more. Will just wait and see.

So, I wanna like this, but unfortunately one of the straps broke within the first couple weeks. We have two ferrets, one is very small for her age and the other is full grown. The straps are just far too small, and when you add thin straps to metal clips, something is gonna give. I will say that it is definitely roomy enough for both ferrets. They do use this one a lot, I will likely just modify it myself, but very disappointed in the quality of the straps. I paid $26.99 CAD for it.

Product arrived early, nice thick material. Looks solid, my ferrets were excited to have it installed. Just put it in today so I can’t speak into long term but I was surprised by the quality of the material.

Sugar gliders loved it. As advertised.
