Very beautiful, grim and sad
This is a simple story about child abuse and escape, set to a grim scenic background and haunting music. The acting and the characters are deep, convincing and mesmerising to watch. Dialogue is sparse. It is perhaps the most beautiful film I have seen since "Tsotsi". I was very impressed. It's in Spanish and there are no English subtitles or overdub but even non-Spanish speakers will have no difficulty with it, as everything is in a look, a glance and the photography. I you do have some Spanish though, it's even more worth watching.
