Something to scratch....
Needed something for my (inside) rabbit to scratch to help keep his nails from getting so sharp. Haven't use long enough to really tell, but he seems to enjoy having it in his cage. My cat seems to like it also. I rub a little catnip on it and she goes after this and leaves my wallpapered wall alone....for now. I'm hoping they will last through and keep everyone busy during this summer. If so, I may have to order more for the rest of the year. We will have to see.....but so far, so good. Thanks!

These are refills! No box included
Iâm giving these 4 stars only because these are not quite as sturdy as others I have purchased and also are more like refills than independent scratchers. When I viewed the photo it showed a solid cardboard edge so I did assume they would be sturdy. My cats are able to scratch right through the cardboard sides. Iâm pretty sure these would fit in most of the box style ones had I saved one. They also shred pretty easily. You do get 5 of them - which brings them to around $3 each - so compared to petsmart refills - you are saving money - i would just suggest not throwing away your outer box. I do not use catnip not made in the USA - therefore I canât review on it. I threw it away. This is a good bargain - if youâre always buying the refills this is a good way to go as the cost is good. If youâre looking for a stronger - long lasting scratcher - I would not suggest these.

Perfect disposable scratcher
I am always looking for small, inexpensive scratchers for our foster kittens. They need the exercise and stimulation of scratching and an appropriate surface to do it on, I need something affordable enough to throw it away when they go up for adoption. These are perfect on both counts. I wouldn't give them to adult cats and expect them to last, but I knew that because I read and understood the product description before I bought.

good deal for me
I buy these with several in a pack. I foster kittens and have some of my own, so I place these at strategically around the house where I don't want them scratching on furniture or door facings. It works. They last a while and I occasionally put catnip on them if they need encouragement. I should probably buy stock in the company. lol

Cats like them
I've never bought a product like this before so I have no comparisons as to quality. Our cats were not using the scratching post but going at the carpet, I heard something about horizontal scratchers, so got these. 5 pack was nice to have them in various rooms in the house. The cats took to them immediately (although are tending to the carpet now and again after a few months...not sure if these are worn out or if the cat is lazy or rebellious). One of them also loves peeling the strips of cardboard and chewing it into chunks. This makes it quite a messy product, with cardboard crumbs all over the carpet, but considering how much she loves it (will chew a chunk and run into another room with it) we're not about to take them away from her.

Best valued scratch board refills
This is the best buy in cardboard cat scratch panel refills. They arent extremely thick, but at @$2 each, I think they're thick enough. đThey fit well and firmly into our cat tower, with only about an inch at the top being unfilled. They actually seem to be a great replacement...

Cats need to claw - and they LOVE this toy!
Our 8# cat immediately jumped on it and went to town. His brother won't touch it. 2 foster kittens also enjoy using them. Hot gluing 2 of them edge to edge made no difference - the single wide ones get used equal to the double wide. Nice enough build quality for what's being done to them. When finished, just through them in the recycling bin. Nice product, and the fur babies really liked the bonus catnip!

Cat's choice
My name is Jangles the cat, and I love this. It makes a big mess of cardboard bits all over the place, which my mistress doesnât like, but it keeps me off the furniture. She tried to give me a rug-covered scratch board, but I wouldnât go near it. I love to sharpen my claws, I love this, because I can really scratch. My mistress likes it too despite the mess because it is inexpensive; a side lasts about a week, and there are two sides to each unit.
