Great alternative to protein bars!
Love these! They are a wonderful alternative to the protein bar and I like the bite-sized nature of Siren Snacks. The simple, plant-based ingredients and softer texture are some of my favorite parts! Definitely would recommend :)

not horrible, not great
They all feel a bit like you mixed some dates in with your cookie dough. I got a variety pack along with some individual flavors so I've tried a lot. The flavors do change a little bit from bite to bite, but they have the same texture and the same sweet cookie dough mixed with date problem. The lemon poppyseed is the gross one to me--I will never want a lemon date cake! I'm not sure I want to pick a favorite, but I think the snickerdoodle are the most palatable because I like the cinnamon. The birthday cake are the biggest disappointment because the sprinkles are inside the balls and you can't see or get texture from them. You may find these a really fun alternative to protein bars, but I didn't like them.

Snickerdoodle: Tasty alternative to protein bars (as that other guy keeps saying)
These are at least as good as protein bars, offering much the same thing in a different format. Each pack is comparable to about half a bar in weight and nutrition. (Siren also has 1.7-ounce packs.)There are five flavors available, and I like all of them including this one, which has a vivid sweet cinnamony taste.I don't notice any of the bitter aftertaste I associate with some protein bars, though a bit of protein concentrate taste is present if I try to notice it.The non-sugar sweetener, monk fruit, is present in a small enough amount that I don't notice any odd taste or cooling effect. Other sweeteners used include dates, tapioca syrup, glycerin, and coconut sugar. The appearance is pretty dull, a half-dozen light brown irregular balls (not cubes) about 5/8" across that look like cookie dough. They're soft like dough, not as moist or sticky but not too dry.Nutritionally, 7g protein per pack is comparable to many protein bars, though it takes two packs to reach the same weight and protein content. Each pack also has 5g fat (of 28g total, so about 18%) and 12g carbs (about 43%), including 2g fiber and 5g sugar (about 18%). That's also comparable to protein bars. The freshness date on mine is October 22, 2020."Made in a Gluten-Free facility that also processes Tree-Nuts (Almonds)." They have almond protein and coconut extracts.

Nobody in my family liked these
Generally we like protein bars and balls, but these were disliked by all of us. My daughter hated the soft, pasty texture, my son said they were nearly flavorless, and I had a strong aftertaste of soap with these. They are probably going to be tossed into shakes to finish them as a way to boost protein.
