I had to send back. It didn't fit my KItchenAid mixer. I've had the mixer for about 20 years so I guess it wasn't for my mixer. It is a very nice beater. It's sturdy and the rubber scrapers are very thick to scrape. I gave it 4 stars because it didn't fit my mixer

I purchased this item for my daughter for Christmas and we have a delayed gift opening this year so we have not had the opportunity to use it yet. The item arrived quickly and undamaged. It seems to be a good value.

I am excited to report that this flex edge beater is much better than the original blade which came with the KitchenAid. No more scraping down the sides of the bowl , the beater did it all for me , so much better. My machine needed no height adjustment either, fantastic product at a very competitive price. Can't understand why this isn't supplied as standard with KitchenAid. Some reviews are stating that it doesn't work properly- but that isn't the case. I think it depends entirely on whether your beater is at the correct height. One thing that's interesting just watching it work is you can see at just how many different points the beater touches the edges of the bowl. Depending on the speed it can feel like it's not getting much of the mixture off the sides but it has to get round to each spot. This coated metal with a rubber flex edge along one of the sides of the beater which is very effective scraping the sides and the base of the bowl unlike the beater that comes with the KitchenAid. I've used it for making Swiss meringue buttercream, Victoria sponges and cupcakes which are all fairly light batters so I haven't tested it with a firmer mixture, but I've no complaints so far. Great quality. I'd definitely recommend it.

I have a Professional 5 Plus mixer (KV25G0X) that I really wish I had never bought. No matter how you adjust the lift of the bowl, the original beater either bangs on the bowl or doesn't come close to the sides, leaving tons of stuff you have to fold in to get your batter or whatever you're making mixed up. The only thing it's useful for is once a year for extra-large batches for Christmas, when the little bit it leaves around the sides of the bowl isn't as much of a pain. I bought this beater hoping it would work better, but it doesn't fit the mixer bowl at all. That model is not only listed in the product information as one it should fit, it's ON THE BOX!!! The top is too wide, rubbing really hard against the bowl when the mixer runs, and the bottom is nowhere near the bottom of the bowl. If I were to adjust it up so the bottom is close, it would rub so much on the sides that it would rip the rubber and burn out the motor, not to mention make a horrible racket (it scared the daylights out of my pets when I turned it on to test it like this). If I adjust it far enough down so the top of the beater isn't going to burn out the motor, the bottom would be a good half inch from the bottom of the bowl, completely useless. Do not buy this beater if you have a KV25G0X. Better yet, don't buy a KV25G0X.

Affordable beater that fits perfectly on my KitchenAid stand mixer

I bought this particular attachment specifically for making pastry where very cold butter is required. It is a very heavy sturdy beater which is well suited to this task, compared with the much lighter beater which came with my stand mixer.

Works great, don’t have to stop to scrape the sides of the bowl so often.

It did not fit perfect in the Kitchen Aid Tilt mixer. The bottom edge of the paddler would bump into the bottom of the mixer bowl. I adjusted the height of the Mixer but this did not fix the issue. According to ChatGPT, in some cases, the manufacturing tolerances of some products are not as robust as the OEM. I have returned the product.

It scrapes the side of the balls so much better than the regular beater. This is my second one.

The double edge beater works great & helps to eliminate the need to scrape the sides of the bowl.
