Handier than I expected
I bought this on a whim, and I’m so glad I did. I have not broken a lead yet (the reason I gave up on mechanical pencils in general) and I doubt I will. It works great as a general marking pencil and the holder fit nicely in both my tool belt and pocket. I have especially found the narrow long barrel and ability to extend the lead out to be surprisingly useful for marking thru existing holes… I have immediately forgotten what I did before. Great product, I recommend.

As a welder/ fabricator this is worth buying
Nice holder and love the way the lead holds up when plasma and welding.

Well made and strong
Well made and perfect. A welcome accessory that’s easy to keep track of in my shirt or pants pocket. I was always misplacing my pencil but with this it’s so easy to return it to the holster so I always know where it is. I love the fact that it can mark through deep holes. And, the lead is robust so the point doesn’t easily break off under pressure. The onboard sharpener is a huge plus.

Good Quality
Good quality as advertised, It came with lots of extra lead, and when I have to drill a small diameter hole through a 2x4, the lead is long enough to reach through to the other side so that I can mark the substrate as needed.

Good long lasting.
These are good leads. I thought I was buying the pencil as well but it was just a refill. That’s on me for not reading close enough. Anyways they fit in my other brand of pencil so all is well.

Deep hole construction pencil
Works like a pencil, especially for holes no more than about 2 inches deep. The barrel and pocket clip are plastic. We'll see how well they stand up with construction use.

like it better then pica brand. stays put and does not fall out of the holder. dureable and easy to use. fine for carpentry. ill buy some more

Works with Pica Dry marker and waited very well on rusty or oily steel.
