We had purchased on of these comforters years ago, so when it became time to replace, we naturally returned to the Laura Ashley Home brand. One of our worries was, would the quality be less (like with many things today)? Thankfully, there are many aspects that are just as good as the first comforter we purchased.Most important, it is warm. While this is not an item you will pull up over you on a summer's night, it will come in handy during those colder evenings in fall and winter seasons. We have washed it twice, and each time it came out of the process looking like new. The only issue is that it is large and bulky and doesn't fit in our washing machine at home, which we easily solved by taking it to the local coin wash.While at first glance it might seem a bit pricey, what you get back in quality and longevity is worth every penny. Five stars.
