10 Madagascar Vanilla Beans Grade A Whole Vanilla Pods for Vanilla Extract and Baking

These beans were beautiful! The beans were large, some were almost twice as long as the grade A beans I got from a different seller. They were moist, oily, plump with plenty of caviar and had a wonderful aroma! Shipping was prompt, they came vacuum sealed, and my package of 10 beans weighed 1.5 ounces without the packaging. These were definitely grade A beans, they were a great value for the price and I will order from this seller again when I need more beans.

I add these to a bottle of Vodka, shaking it occasionally and make my own vanilla for baking/cooking and it's the best. So much better and less expensive than store bought. Just score the beans and pop in a bottle of Vodka. It takes a year for the best taste but you can use it after a month.

I buy vanilla beans every few years to make homemade vanilla extract. Pros: lovely fragrance, vacuum sealed packaging, beans had a good 'feel' to them- not too dry, not slimy. Cons: some of the beans were quite tiny. Consensus: you get what you pay for so this was probably a good value. I'm happy about the overall quality of the beans, I'll just have to remember to order a few more next time (12-15, not 10).

I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of these beans. Considering the price, I wasn't expecting much, but I was very pleasantly surprised as soon as I opened the package. The beans were moist, aromatic, had good color and were absolutely chock full of goodness. I've been using extract in my recipes to save a little money, but at this price and this quality, I am happily switching back to the real thing.

I use these to make homemade vanilla extract. These are nice and plump vanilla beans which is exactly what I needed for this process. They come in a nice vacuum sealed package which keeps them fresh. I’ve ordered these on several occasions.
