Great game for bonding with a teenager
This game is a little before my time, but I loved the imagery and mid-century modern aesthetic. Bonding with a teenager these days is tough, but I showed her this game, and we had a great time rolling the dice, trying to get the right outfit and get the right date- which was all a little corny compared to contemporary world problems and the surge in technological entertainment. This game is from her grandmother's era and gave us a good opportunity to think of that time period and opened points of discussion for how times have changed, priorities are different and her own life in comparison to yesteryear. I am actually thankful for this game and adore it.

Niece Loved It
Got this for my niece for her birthday, age 8. She loved it and it was fun. She did need someone who could read well to play with her at least the first couple times till she was able to explain to anyone new playing with her what to do.

OBSESSED! So Fun for the Family
I never played this game before (I'm 37), but I thought it would be a fun game to play with my 10 year old and I love the vintage look of the game. Turns out my mom had this game as a kid in the 70s and she was beyond thrilled to play it with us and it brought back fun memories for her. I love the tin box and how the board looks so retro. In the box you get 4 lady movers, the mystery door with 5 guys behind it, a dice, and tons of outfit cards for 4 different dates (ski, bowling, beach, and prom). The concept of the game is to be the first to collect the 3 outfit cards to make a complete outfit (labeled 1, 2, 3 and color coded by date type) and land on the "Open the Door" spot so you can match your outfit cards to the guy who hopefully matches your outfit behind the door. There's also a dud guy thrown in and if you open the door and he's there, you have to discard your outfit cards into the pile and take 3 new cards from the draw pile. If you declare you have an outfit, land on the "Open the Door" spot, and it's not the bowler date for example, you get to keep your cards and the next person goes. You turn the doorknob to change the guy behind the door for the next person. You will win when you open the door and the date matches your complete outfit. The door is plastic and has a small knob that you'll turn throughout the game. Each of the date cards has notches in it that the back of the knob will snag, so the dates change as you turn the knob and take additional turns. At first we were only getting the prom, bowler, and dud, then I figured out that just turning the knob slightly increases your chance of getting the other two dates as well. Turning it too much will get you only a few of the dates constantly. We are obsessed with this game and even my husband has been playing with us and it's lots of laughs for the family. Definitely worth the price for the hours of fun. It would also make a fun, nostalgic gift for any lady who had this game growing up.

Nostalgic game
I know this a game is made for children. But, as a child, I had this game and truly enjoyed. I purchased it for myself because it brings back such sweet memories of my childhood. I’m an older woman and I know it sounds silly. But, I have had friends over and I brought out the game. We love spending time together and truly enjoy playing these games. We just think it’s hilarious and fun to see all these older adults playing these kid games.

Love it!! Perfect!
The night it arrived, which was really fast, my granddaughter and I played it for hours. It was so much fun. Everything was in perfect condition, except one little cardboard stand for a player piece was slightly broken but it’s no problem. We can glue it and probably won’t use it because we don’t have that many players anyway, it comes with four. I played this as a kid, and it’s just tons of fun. My granddaughter, and I laughed and laughed. So happy to find this remake game!
