Kikkerland Make Your Own Music Box Paper Refills, 5-Piece

Super quality!

I bought along with the music box in case I ran out, thinking that the strips that come with the kit itself wouldn't be enough. I tried it, however, and found that the number they give you is quite enough as it takes a while to punch all the little holes for the music. The paper refulls all fit and work and are perfect should you require more.

This review was intended for the little crank music box, also a Kikkerland product, called "Make Your Own Music Box" itself, since these are just the paper refills that it uses: My music lover, loves this music!!! My only disappointment was in the softness of the little thing... if it could be louder, it would be perfect.

The strips are as exactly as advertised and worked beautifully. I can't rate them higher based on two factors: 1) it seems a bit pricey for a few pieces of paper and 2) the box they came in was offensively large. The strips could have been rolled up to a reasonable size without damaging them (like those that came in the original kit). Instead, the box was so large that you could fit a small child inside; what an environmental travesty!

This thing never fails to impress me however it does feel very limited to the types of songs it can play considering it cannot play sharps or flats.

I imagine that the product itself does what it's supposed to do, but be warned that it's pretty hard to program these correctly. I watched several youtube videos trying to get it right and I still screwed it up. One strip wasted.

This is an interesting device. It works good and is well built. The tape enables the device to play a very long tune and the ends could be taped together to make an endless loop. I can program my own tunes or copy any tune. I really like it.

I was excited to get the music box set for my husband. He loves making music and this was an "instrument" he did not have yet. The refills came 5 in the pack. The only dislike about the refills is that they are expensive to order and ship. The box was huge too.

Si te gusta tener de varias canciones, las que trae la caja musical no son suficientes. Por eso es esencial tener tiras de mas. Son las oficiales y que se usan con la maquinita Kikkerland.

Indispensable, de bonne qualité, et pratique à utiliser, mais quand même beaucoup trop cher pour ce que c'est, une bande de carton avec des lignes.
