Got this to store a very large, very sharp Chinese cleaver in. The kind meant to chop through bone in meats like their nothing. This was not only a perfect size, but it's sturdy as well as secure, making me feel much better about storing the cleaver away until it's needed. The design also make it easy to store away.

There is no question that the Plano Cubby Cube is well designed with a strong latch. It has held up well despite storing heavy items and stacking them four high. I am very happy that the order quantity issue has been resolved! I now know if I need to order a four pack in the future, I will receive a four pack. Not having to deal with resolving receipt of a single Cubby Cube when a four pack was ordered is definitely a big time saving improvement. ~sigh

I see from another reviewer that they only sent one of the 4 cubes purchased. Today I also received one of the four purchased. Not happy that I now have to go to an UPS store to make a return. Tried to call Plano’s customer service and held on for a long time but no customer support available.An unnecessary hassle.

I needed an interior measurement to hold an oil painting board 11" x 14" when the board is wet and I need to transport it. The measurements reflect the exterior size.

They are a perfect size for me. I bought 8 in total and use them everywhere. Collectable cards and memorabilia..spare batteries and other items for survival or power outages.. plus being clear and the latch securely closes it tight. Small enough to take anywhere.. I also use 1 for game night, dice, note pads pencils and timers too..

The media could not be loaded. The box is made of high-quality materials, but I'm deducting stars due to misleading dimensions. It’s listed as 12"x14", but that refers to the outer measurements—including the hinges and lid—not the usable interior space. I bought it to store 12"x12" scrapbook paper, but the actual interior is closer to 11"x13", so it doesn’t fit. Also, the latch is unnecessarily tight—I nearly broke a nail trying to open it. While it's secure, it feels like overkill for a small plastic box. I'm returning it.

These fit perfectly in my IKEA Kallax shelves — four per cube. I use the to divide different types of paper for my kids, e.g., colored, printer paper, loose notebook sheets, etc. Has saved a lot of headaches with spilled stacks of them trying to get to what they want.
