RayHom A1406 A1465 Replacement Battery for MacBook Air 11 inch A1465 (2012-2015 Version) and A1370 (Mid 2011 Version) A1495 (Mid 2011 2012 2013 Early 2014 2015)-Longevity

Works great. Luckily this gen of MacBook Air battery isn’t glued in, just a few screws in a plastic tray. The battery is noticeably less battery life than the OEM Apple battery, being only 4 cells instead of 6 cells… but my battery would shut off at 70% only lasting about 30 minutes, so with this one going all the way to 1% and under moderate usage lasting about 4 hours and days on standby I would say this is a great purchase and easy install to keep your old MacBook Air going and prevent e-waste!

This is a quality product and totally appropriate. However, the PROCESS of battery replacement is, by computer design, difficult and dangerous. There are several fragile connections and critical circuits in immediate vicinity to the battery. The old battery is glued to the case, so it needs to be partially pried out. The battery may be hot and any puncture can cause a fire or shock. There are no instructions included, only the warranty information, so you need to actually know what your are doing. If you know, this is an excellent value. If you don't, you are likely to irreparably damage your vintage computer.

Purchased to repair a MBA 2011. So far I'm am not seeing the kind of performance as the original battery, but still a little better than what was replaced. The previous batter only lasted an hr and 1/2. Here is what I recorded from the first full charge. CocunutBattery showed it as 2 cycles and a full charge when I began the test.First full charge only using safari browser100% -> 90% = 22 minutes85% -> 80% = 1580% -> 75% = 2075% -> 65% = 2865% -> 50% = 4050% -> 45% = 1045% -> 25% = 3525% -> 0% = 30Sorry about the percentage jumps, but you get the picture. Total time was 200 minutes. Still drained much faster than expected, so I will monitor it. Temps ranged from 26 C to around 31 C. Battery seemed to drain faster when it was hotter, probably due to the fan running.Also it's important to note that on the 3rd full cycle, i left the MBA on with no applications running. I checked it after 3 hrs and it had drained to 98%%. Then I checked it again at 8 hrs and it was down to 95%. In the process of writing this, it has went from the 95% to 85% in the matter of several minutes. Something isn't right about this battery, but we will see. I had hoped it was a good one because of the great reviews, but so far, it doesn't appear to function as desired. Too bad. May return if it continues with the odd draining patterns.

Nothing to dislike. it came before time (which is great) and worked. Also came with the proper tools. Battery is now installed and working fine.

I just got this battery and immediately installed it. These are initial observations. I am giving this battery 7 days, after which I will either keep it or return it and adjust my number of stars accordingly.1. The instructions are not useful/usable. Even though this battery is exclusively for an 11" Macbook Air, the settings listed under "Calibrate your laptop battery to optimize its performance" do not correspond to settings accessed via System Preferences. The user is therefore left completely in the dark regarding this critical initializing procedure. I am initializing it according to my best interpretation of the rest of the instructions.2. The screwdrivers are adequate for the task.3. The battery comes with a sticky acetate film adhering to the surface. There is no indication whether this film is supposed to be left in place or removed. I removed it, since the original battery does not have a film over it.

Only had for several months, but had good success so far. Does not appear to last as long as the original battery when new, but close.

This battery was easier to install being a novice. There were a few tricky parts and 1 screw doesn't seem to go back quite right, but the battery life is great so far and better than my old battery that didn't hold a charge at all.Update as of November 20The battery has started to give out more rapidly. I contacted the company and they told me 4 hours of regular use is to be expected. Without even heavy usage 4 hours is all you get? This is not ok to me.Update to the update, customer service worked with me, so that was nice

Easy to install
