Good Quality EDC Knife
Purchased this last week and am very happy. Blade is strong and sharp. Knife is light and thin making it perfect for my pocket wearing anything. Would buy again.

MADE IN THE USA!
This orange Kershaw Leek is just the latest in my growing collection of Leek knives. It's fit, function, and appearance are all one would and should expect from Kershaw. It came razor sharp and super pointy right out of the box. The blade slices with ease on everything I've tried. The "slicey," if you will, nature of the blade gives a very satisfying feeling as it goes to work. The blade is well centered and the release and unlock features function perfectly. As I stated, the knife is made in the USA and I'm proud to have it amongst my growing collection. Buy with confidence!

Favorite EDC Knife
This is one of the best knives for the money I've ever had. I carry it every day and barely notice it because it's so thin and lightweight. Only complaint is the clip screws back out over time, so I've put a touch of thread lock on them, problem solved.

Kershaw-y goodness
It's a Kershaw, enough said. I've come to collect a handful of Kershaws over the past year or so. The design, material, fit and finish have all been top notch. This particular review is for the Orange SpeedSafe Leek. The knife is shipped in a cardboard Kershaw box. Inside the box is the knife in a plastic sleeve with a little dessicant pack. Warranty/information card is included.Initial impression is great. The anodizing is phenomenal and the bead blasted steel matches well with the orange. It isn't as vibrant as the picture shows, not a 'blaze' orange, more like a burnt copper. Gorgeous. The silver hardware meshes well with the orange. The clip is reversible, tip up or down, right hand only and is solid. Tip up carry will expose about an inch of the knife. The safety works but seems out of place to me. I used a Torx bit and removed it altogether. The operation of the SpeedSafe works fine, slightly slower than the Blur, about on par with the Brawler. The SS actuator tab is small-ish but has adequate enough jimping to be activated pretty quickly. The knife pops open with a 'thwack' and locks up solidly. The blade is held in place with a standard liner lock. The lock itself is slightly difficult to access but isn't super stiff, which is a pro. Approximately 60% lock engagement on my model. Now to the blade. This mother came SHARP. Bald spots on my forearm and leg, Very nice. The profile is thin, about 3/4 of an inch wide at its widest area down to a needle point. Don't drop this on your toe or you'll be en route to the ER. Jimping on the spine is so-so. The grind is nice and it's a very attractive knife. 3 inch, razor sharp blade. One drawback is the thin-ness of the blade. Definitely light duty use, the tip will certainly snap if used for prying, don't do it.In my opinion, Kershaw hit a home run with this knife, so long as you know that this isn't a survival knife. It is without a doubt a very serviceable EDC knife that has found it's way into my rotation. 5 star recommendation from me.

Love the Leek
I've lost 4 of these over the course of 15 years and this is my 5th.The pros:The blade profile is quick and easy to sharpen. It also holds an edge well.It is super thin and sleek in the pocket. The cons:The spring assist opening has been pretty inconsistent across the 5 I've owned. The thin profile also means that the tip is fragile and will snap under any kind of prying, so keep that in mind if you're THAT guy.

Thin, light, razor sharp. An awesome little knife
The best pocket knife I've ever owned. Comes razor sharp and I keep it that way with a few strokes on a SharpNEasy 336C, which is cool because the course side is ceramic rods not carbon blades, which I find destroy a cutting edge rather than sharpen it. The clip on the Kershaw is tight and holds the knife securely in place. I have no fear that it will accidentally fall off. The opening mechanism is phenomenal, like a switch blade. And the liner lock is easy to manipulate one handed. The only "rub" I have is that the knife comes with the clip attached at the blade end rather than the butt end, which is counter-intuitive. When you withdraw the knife from your pocket by the butt your fingers are automatically in the correct position to open the blade and use it, when it's attached to the blade end you have to turn the knife around before you can open it. It doesn't make any sense, and with the tiny star drive screws they use I had to stop by my local garage the day I got the knife and ask the mechanic if he had the right size bit. I have a LOT of tools, but I don't have that. Yet. I plan on buying more of these little beauties as Christmas gifts and I'm gonna turn the clip around before I wrap them!
