LEGO Batman - Playstation 3

Love to play this game it is so much fun!

The game was very fun and awesome.

I have a 5-year-old daughter, and most video games are either too adult for her, too difficult for her, too boring for her, or too boring for me. Lego Batman is perfect for both of us, though. It's simple enough for her to actually play and not get frustrated, can be played cooperatively with two players (huge plus), is tame enough for her to actually watch the cutscenes and enjoy the whole game, and is based on toys she already plays with (Legos!). Plus, I'm a huge Bat-geek, so I love playing this with her. We have a great time with it, laughing and just exploring the game's content. If you have younger kids and want to have fun together playing video games, this one is the perfect choice!

Ok so i go tthis game so that my little sister and i can rot our brains out together haha. and it is a lot of fun. most of the missions are fun enough for an experienced person to have fun all the while a 10 yr old wont be lost int he dark. so overall the game is great and i would give it a, 8.5/10 for fun.however this game has 2 problems which i will expand on.the first and worst feature are the vehicle sections, these missions are absolutely HORRIBLE. i mean they are about as much fun as running my knuckles through a cheese grater, except i could only do that once, in contrast to the 6 vehicle sections. these sections have camera angles that seem to try as hard as possible to piss you off, you will need to go to a specific corner of the map to do a specific job but you cant because the bloody camera is busy staring at the shiny brick on the other side of the god forsaken map. On top of that every section is basically you doing all the work in the only ship that actually matters while the other ship flys around stealing coins then losing them. Now we played this in coop mode so we can avoid the thick dunce they call an AI, but that didnt help because the partner always gets stuck behind a building you didnt even know was jutting out because of the stupid camera angles. I love this game but the vehicle sections are absolutely DISGUSTING.the next and only other main issue i had was something i went over above, camera angles, but only in coop mode. It seems that if you have a certain job to do, which your partner cant help you with, instead of zooming in on you and letting your partner wallow int he corner of view, it zooms so you can see both of you and everything within a 5 mile radius of the person farthest from the job. i kid, it really isnt that bad because honestly 90% of the time the camera was perfectly fine and well rendered, but just be warned, twice, maybe thrice, its best for player 2 to drop out for you to get a better view, then drop back in.in the long run however, the horrifically made vehicle sections that should rot in a special place in he.ll are the only major issues with this game. other than that its superbly designed.the drop in drop out feature through out is a great idea, so when one person is taking a leak you can steal all the coins (muahahaha)the game is very well designed as far as difficulty goes, it keeps it at a fair level for kids while making it interesting for adultsit keeps the same basic idea so you are rarely confused (if you are, you my friend are an idiot) but is never repetitiveit has highly replayable, which you WILL do just to get the blasted minikits to prove you cant be outdone but a lego gameand other than the parts mentioned above you will always be entertained, and i do recommend this to anyone, whether you are 10 (in which case i apologize for the insults before) or if you are a "hard core gamer" that just wants a fun little game (in which case i would also like to point out that kiddie games make girls think you are "sensitive" lol)overall an 8.5 out of 10, just make sure to buy a bit of pain killers for the 6 vehicle sections...

My son loves this game. It is not only a lot of fun, but it is challenging. My son is 6 and can play this with no problems. It is not one of those games where your kid will be constantly asking you to beat a level for him. Also, I am a huge Batman fan myself and the music in this game is very Danny Elfman...great music, I love hearing it while he plays. Although this IS based on a DC comic, it is toned down in the violence and is appropriate for younguns.

My 6.5 year old son LOVES this game! He's a gamer though so he's comfortable with the PS3 controller. It's helpful for me to be in the room with him when he gets stuck though because sometimes a hint/instruction displays on the bottom of the screen and he doesn't notice it. There are times when he's so intent on what he's trying to accomplish in the game that he ignores everything else on the screen to his detriment. As he becomes a stronger reader he won't have that problem anymore.

I bought this for my 5 year old who loves superheros and games. The graphics are fantastic and the play is a lot of fun. It's not violent and very age appropriate for toddlers. We ended up purchasing another controller so that my husband could play alongside my son as Robin. If there isn't a second player, the computer plays the partner and you can choose whether to play Batman or Robin and switch at any time.

I was all set and excited to play this game over my boyfriends house when I took a trip to see him but unfortunately it was very disappointing when it would only load to the system and would freeze everytime it was time to play the game. I am never buying anymore games used from Amazon. I guess I'll be going back to my Cali Games spot!!
