Amazon needs to train its employees how to package glasses for shipment. I had to reorder these because I received a box of glass crumbles. The second shipment also came with shattered glass. Out of the two shipments I salvaged a total of six glasses that were undamaged, so I didn't seek a second refund. (Amazon did refund the first shipment with no difficulty.)The actual glasses are very nice. They are thick and heavy. They go in the microwave without getting the glass hot. They come out of the dishwasher sparkling. Everyone from our 7 year old to 65 year old really like the feel of the glass in their hands and the different sizes.

Great for that glass of iced tea or lemonade. Perhaps even that glass of water to stay hydrated. I like the design and they seem the right size and sturdy.

Duralex is a fantastic brand in terms of style, quality, and durability.

One of the glasses came with a flaw. I got in touch with the company and sent a picture of the glass with the problem. They immediately fixed the problem. I had ordered 6 glasses with the my original order and after contacting them they sent me 6 glasses which are all perfect. The glasses are nice looking and appear to be very sturdy. Great customer service.!

I have these Duralex glasses which I bought from Amazon a long time back and they are simply the best. They hold up great and don't break easily. When they do shatter, they won't do so in a manner that causes cuts.It was finally time to replace mine. So I ordered online knowing I'd done this before (albeit 8 years ago!). BUT - this time, the shipping was terrible and the glasses came shattered. I read reviews prior to this and knew it was often returned. Now I know why. Amazon was great and refunded me the money without having to ship back the broken glasses. I wanted to give the glasses 5 star, the shipping a 1 star. But since my money was refunded with no hassles, I gave it 4. Hope this helps. If you love these glasses and want to give the shipping a go - do so knowing you may not get the full set. I was hoping to get lucky. Guess not.

Even the engines of destruction that are my grandspawn cannot chip these bad boys. They are even "Kairi" proof. Very thick, robust tempered glass. Holds 8 oz with ice.

Just love my new Picardie glasses. Really like the retro look and the weight of them. Very easy to hold.

EDIT--One of these glasses literally exploded when I was taking it out of the dishwasher. The glass had been washed the night before and had cooled completely. As I gently grasped it to pick it up out of the rack, it blew into hundreds of fragments, all over my dishes, my floor, and the inside of the dishwasher. I did not grip it too tightly, I hadn't even lifted it from the rack yet! Not a safe product. I'm spending the afternoon cleaning glass out of my dishwasher and my dishes.These glasses were clearly used, although I paid for a new set. I could tell because I ordered a set in a different size in the same order that was packed in bubble wrap and which had a sticker on every glass. This set had the glasses in a flimsy cardboard box with no padding, and there were no stickers, either. The glasses are so good they survived the trip with no bubble wrap around them, and no padding in the Amazon box, either. Bad work by Amazon, but the product is great.
