Cross-purposes
Requires a bit of adjustment for an American palate, partly because the silver candy coating calls mackerel to mind - expectations, flavor, texture, and visual cues are at cross-purposes - but by the second tasting I had adapted pretty well to a sweet that is overall bland, uninspiring.

I am gonna have to give this a no. It tasted like the pad between a saddle and the horse’s back smells. Sorry that was a memory from my childhood.
