Actually Better than I expected (with a few downsides)
I got this stabilizer for my Sony Alpha A55 because I would like something to stabilize it (duh). When I opened the box it was already assembled, and came with a phone holder. I have not use the phone holder but I might. I extended the stick so the weights are heavier than the camera. I spent a good half hour making sure that it was balanced so don't expect it to be perfect the first time. I then took some sample video and I will have to practice more but it turned out pretty good. Please not that every time you take off the camera and put it back on that you will have to re balance. Another thing to note is that my Sony isn't that heavy and I'm near the weight limit i think, if you have a canon it probably wont work. Overall this is a great product for the price, and my review is not paid for or fake. (Yes i'm going to include that <--)

Broke after 4 weeks.
This stabilizer is a huge disappointment. Not only did it not work as advertised, but it was actual carbon fiber either. The only thing somewhat nice about this product was that the 3 way axis was somewhat decent when you put a nice camera on it. But it broke after 4 weeks in and out use and nothing was done on the heavy scale.

Meh... It's 'Okay'.
Decent implementation of a well-known stabilizaiton technique. But could be better! I have a bunch of nit-picks with their design. They haven't kept up to date with other products that they need to interface with. Probably would not but again, would research more.

If you bought this to use with your phone not a camera read this.
I bought this to use with my I-Phone 6s. There is NO user manual and you tube has limited instructions and none I could find to use with a phone. After much frustration trying to balance my camera (phone) I decided to take all the weights off and try that. It worked! It still isn't balanced perfect but with some practice and more patience I think I can get it.Overall a sturdy well built piece. The other reason I was hesitant to purchase this was the long lead time but it came in about 7 days with prime.

No brainer for budget filmmakers!
Awesome stabilizer for the price! I used a glidecam 4000 before this so I had huge expectations, the build quality on the videook is very good. I got it stabilized with my Sony A 7II in no time. The only complaint I have is the screw to move the plate forward and backwards is to close to the plate itself. The work around is leaving it one twist from being completely tight and adjusting that way.
