Seberson Method: New SAT(R) Vocabulary Workbook: Over 700 High-Frequency Words to Master

I love this book- I didn’t purchase it intending to assist my high schooler with testing. I loved the extensive vocabulary words and the way the book is built. It’s a great way to increase your understanding and knowledge of words, and how to improve your speech. (Our teen with Asperger’s said she appreciated the structure of words and examples- she appreciates quality writing.) Great book!

Great starter book for any high schooler.

Bought this to help my husband who has comprehension aphasia. Found this book very helpful not only for his vocabulary but memoey.

Arrives fast and it is well written. Easy for me to study.

I bought this for supplemental summer instruction and for PSAT vocabulary practice for my kid over the summer. She enjoyed it and powered through it. It was a great learning aid, not too difficult but also not too easy. Great for extra practice and enrichment.

Great book! Get one!

The method used in this book is a very tedious way to learn SAT vocabulary (especially for male students) but might work well for female students who have a predominantly visual learning style. The print was also much smaller than what was shown on the sample pages on the website so it’s not a good option for visually impaired persons either.

I really like this book! The words are explained in a simple, clear way that makes them easy to remember. The short lessons don’t feel overwhelming, and I can already see my vocabulary improving. It’s a helpful and practical resource for anyone preparing for the SAT.

For me the format of the book is good but there is a lack of depth when it comes to actually testing the knowledge and usage of each word. There is about one test questions for each word. There should be a lot more ways of testing usage and memory of each word in order for learning to really take place.

Great book! Very useful to master the vocabulary questions on the SAT. Totally recommendable, especially for international students whose native language is not English.
