Spyderco Paramilitary 2 : What can you expect ? Made in USA !!
I have several pocket knives and I have returned others due to unmatched information in relation to what you get in reality. Sorry CIVIVI but your knives are not made as you said they were. They do not have neither the quality nor the sharpness of this last pocket knife called : Spyderco Paramilitary 2. Excellent blade. Very sharp ... close to what a scalpel is, not the same but close. Excellently made and with a lock mechanism that is reliable. Easy to handle and feels great in your hand. Not large, not small but with the right length to fit in any hand of any size. Not light and not heavy, but with heavy enough that you feel in command and light enough to keep it in your pocket without hurting your lumbar. What else can I say about this excellent pocket knife. You get what you pay for is a fact that nobody can deny. Mine is camouflage and I do highly recommend it.

Best knive ever!
I am a retiring police officer of 29 years… And for the first time in my life I’m calling my knife an EDC, before that I just called it my duty knife. I’ve researched survival knives, tactical knives , hunting knives and camping knives since high school. But for whatever reason I have not researched pocket knives very much at all. I’m not sure why other than I read all 24 Tarzan books by Edgar Rice Burroughs and some of them over and over as a kid and fell in love with full tang hunting knives. I I have carried a pocket knife my whole life… I don’t know the year but I know it was quite a while ago I was in a police supply store ( it was a once a week occurrence back then ) looking at the newest gear… That is when I came across a New Spyderco display case and gravitated to it. Honestly my first response was “Hey, what the hell are those”? I was handed an Endura and within about sixty seconds knew I had to have it. Spyderco has been my “ Duty Knife ever since. Btw why all the background... well when I read reviews, especially about things I’m gonna spend a little money on, I like the background of the person that’s giving the rating and I’m writing this for the like minded. Now that I’m going to have to retire due to on duty injuries I’ve had a lot of time on my hands and I have been researching pocket knives… knife steel...brands and EDC reviews written and on video for several months. I wanted to be open minded and not just look at Spyderco even though I love every one I own. I narrowed it down to three brands, Spyderco (of course), Benchmade and Zero Tolerance. I read more reviews than I can count and watched a buttload of videos. Spyderco won out as brand for several reasons...reviews about the quality of knife received, happiness with choice others have made and even the tone of voice used in head to head comparisons. Of course my experience with every Spyderco I have being flawless out of the box.... okay okay I have a little brand loyalty but I consider myself open minded which is how I switched to Spyderco in the firstplace. I wanted S30V steel above ALL others for its well rounded qualities. I narrowed my choices down to the Manix2, para2 and para 3. I ruled out para 3 because I like to carry tip up and the large lanyard hole ( which I Love) prevented tip up carry from riding low in the pocket as well as the fact I have ex large hands. I chose para 2 over Manix mostly due to personal prverence. I received the knife and inspected every square 1/64 th of an inch of it...as always...flawless. Very sharp out of the box. And to me...beautiful...but then I think Glocks are beautiful. I’m a function over form guy and I think high function is beautiful. I love the way the G2 scales feel. I love that my hand fits very well and the I can grip high for more detail cutting. If you wanna pry something get a prybar, if you wanna stab someone get a combat knive or better yet stab yourself. If you want to cut things over and over be able to depend on the knife I say get a Spyderco in the model that suites your needs. 10-7

The best EDC blade bar none
I’ve always hated the way Spyderco knives look with the goofy hole in the blade. That being said, I’m kicking myself for not buying one sooner. I’ve bought a number of other knives, and nothing holds a candle to the paramilitary 2. My ZT Sinkevich looks better, but the paramilitary 2 has absolutely perfect ergonomics. The g10 handle is sturdy, lightweight, and has unbeatable grip. It carries effortlessly with n the pocket and opens buttery smooth. The compression lock has rock solid lockup and by design it’s basically impossible to accidentally close. It’s honestly the best knife ever designed. Got mine on sale here on Amazon for about $160, an absolute steal. I really wish I got over my objections with the aesthetics sooner, I would’ve saved a lot of money. If a better edc exists I haven’t found it. Btw the Spyderco look is really growing on me, it’s a damn good looking knife!

Best Folder in my Collection
So I really didn't NEED a new knife when I bought this one. I have plenty of knives, and I'm very happy with all of them. But after reading lots of reviews and hearing how much everybody loves this knife I gave in and bought it. First Impressions: - It came out of the box hair popping sharp - The action was smoother than any other knife I own, but stiffer than I expected - The larger hole was nice - Flow through design was a nice to have - etc Basically everything seemed pretty good and I liked it. But I wasn't incredibly in love with it, I mean it wasn't like I was ready to have it replace all my other knives. So I started carrying it as my EDC and thought I would see if it grew on me more, or if it was just going to be added to my rotation. After Regular Use: But something happened the more I used it. The action loosened up a little and now it takes very little effort to flip it open. I have forgotten about the extra heft in my pocket and it has become a non-issue. And after a few weeks of carrying it and using it I realized I love this knife. Picking up my other knives (Spyderco Dragonfly, Spyderco Delica, Spyderco Endura, etc) I noticed how all the features in this knife add up to be an amazing knife. The Spyder holes on my other knives seem too small now, the actions too stiff and difficult to open, the blades too thin, too short, too long, etc. Basically this knife has become my one EDC knife. The blade length is perfect at < 3.5 inches. The handle large is enough to play around with different grips and have them all feel comfortable. The CPM-S30V steel cuts all day long without needing a touch up. I did hit the sharpening stones to polish up the edge so that it would last longer and it was pretty easy to grind the steel the way I wanted. The blade shape is great for slicing and it easily slices through food, cardboard boxes, cable ties, plastic packages, etc. All sharp corners were smoothed out so that nothing catches while pulling it out of your pocket. The lanyard hole (not that I use it) is large enough to actually put a lanyard through it. The jimping on the thumb ramp and choil allow you to choke up on the knife and keep a secure grip on it. I could go on and on about all the little details of this knife that, on their own seem simple and obvious, but add up to a brilliantly designed knife. If you want my opinion, don't believe the hype, buy it and see for yourself instead! You won't be disappointed. If I were to only have one folding pocket knife, I would have this knife.

No te decepcionará.
