I purchased 2 kits and made a pair of climbing walls for my son. I see reviews complaining about needing more T-nuts. The bolts are M10x1.50 "course" threads. I found a ton of T-nuts searching for M10 and advertising "for climbing walls", which worked fine. The bolts will extend different lengths through the holds, so you will need to plan to mount the wall with furring strips. I think these are the sort of problems one should expect to work around doing a big DIY project like making a climbing wall, and think these holds are excellent.

Solid build quality, nice variety of difficulty grips (definitely tailored to beginners as most of them are large handholds). Built this for my little boys in the living room as they're turning into small monkeys that are climbing everything and they love it. All handholds were used on my wall here (32" wide by 9' tall). For reviewers saying these things spin, I'm assuming they simply didn't tighten them down well enough (understandable if you try to install these with the puny wrench they supply). I used an allen wrench bit in my impact driver and buried the nut into the plywood and they don't budge.

First of all, the bolts and T nuts are an orphan size-I’ve tried to find additional t nuts (thinking we could install extra and move the grips around). I’ve finally given up. The bolt is close to a 10mm, and I can’t find T nuts anywhere that are larger than 3/8ths. Even if I switched the bolts, those are too narrow. Also the holes in the grips are different “thicknesses”- so while some will seat the t nut correctly in a 3/4th inch sheet of plywood, others will stick out. That obviously won’t work if you intend to mount the plywood to a wall or flat surface. The positives-the grips are sturdy, the bolts seem like they will do the job just fine. There is a wide variety of types of grips and 32 will easily cover a 4x8 sheet of plywood. The directions are not helpful but a bit of common sense is all you need. I would definitely buy again-I just hope to help someone else out with these things to keep in mind. 4 stars only because I’m not thrilled with making ANOTHER trip to buy plywood.

The holds are of great quality from what I can tell. I’ve never rock climbed myself, but I built a wall for the family for Christmas and was pleasantly surprised and the quality of everything sent. And to also come with all the hardware needed made things so much easier! I also had a question for the manufacturer/seller and they replied within a day, were really nice, and helped me out! Coming from someone not experienced in this field I would say I highly recommend this seller and this product to anyone looking! Oh and the picture I attached doesn’t show all the holds the package came with, was ready to have the kids climb to the ceiling quite yet.
