Penguin Science Fiction Postcards: 100 Book Covers in One Box

A nice collection of science fiction book covers both vintage and new.

It's fun to send a postcard as a thank you note after being invited to someone's house. The art from these sci fi books is great and people love getting them.

I made a little time lapse video going through about 1/3rd of the postcards for anyone who wanted to see a bit more before they bought but if you’d like to be pleasantly surprised id recommend going in blind, it’s just a lot more exciting like that. So I bought these because I’m really into postcards and stickers right now and even though there’s almost no product photos (which, now that I own this product, I’m glad because I was able to be pleasantly surprised) I decided the concept sounded cool and WOW!!! these are great for mailing to friends and pen pals and even any small business looking to send extras with their orders. I use them for all of these plus just to put up on my wall. I can’t recommend them enough!! As a chronic gift giver this has upped my game by 1000%!!

I enjoy these, not as much variety of artists as I imagined but I suppose it makes sense a publisher or editor would have regulars. Several of these artists do show a nice range of styles. Personally I would have preferred artwork cards in place of the 10 or so included that are basically just text covers aside from some variation in the penguin logo. Overall pretty satisfied. There are several that I am very happy to have. Comes in a handy box masquerading as a chunky book.

This was a totally worthwhile purchase. I love the old book cover cards and people seem to really enjoy receiving them because they are so unique and unexpected. I have even discovered some good books and authors after purchasing this postcard set. The cards are very sturdy and high quality and they come in a really cool box which can be used for other things once emptied of postcards and even before that it is a cool display item/decoration for the house or office. The only bummer is that I find myself not wanting to give them away or use them because I love them so much. haha I will probably just buy another set. Highly recommended.

I don't know why it's taken me so long to get these. I love Penguin publishing and I love old sci fi art work. This is amazing. I'll have to get another box to actually send to people because I can't let go of them...

Just fantastic, each card is a doorway into amazing histories and eventual movies, etc. I took each card and looked up the Wikipedia entry on it and ended up with a DIY Sci-Fi home-schooling education. 100 cards, no repeats.

I absolutely loved these postcards. Lots of Great variety. There are made from a thick, sturdy paper. The graphics are are well done. I’m avid postcard swapper and these are perfect.

Diese Postkartensammlung ist allemal ihres Preises wert. Sie kommt in einer hochwertigen Pappbox, die man gut weiterverwenden kann. Die Karten sind liebevoll gestaltet: auf festem Karton gedruckt, mit lustiger themenbezogener Beschriftung auf der Rückseite, sowie mit einer guten, abwechslungsreichen Auswahl an Titelseiten von den 30ern bis zu den ca. 90erjahren. Darunter befinden sich die Klassiker wie die von Orwell, Vonnegut, Dick, Heinlein, Ballard, Bradbury etc. Sogar ein Gibson ist mit dabei. Ich mag SF-Klassiker und ich brauche oft Postkarten für die schnelle Korrespondenz, daher ist dieses Produkt wie geschaffen für mich.

Cada postal reproduce una portada original de una gran obra de ciencia ficción, incluidos los clásicos. Y son 100. Una gran compra para disfrutar uno mismo o regalar: cualquier buen aficionado lo agradecerá.
