These sound so good it makes me feel like I've been missing out this whole time, and I'm gonna need to rethink all my other audio devices. They also feel solid, were shipped with care, and in my opinion look great. Double check you have the desk space and the limited inputs meet your needs, but to me priced right and a very easy five stars.

I’m really enjoying these so far! I ordered the yu6s and returned them as they were a bit bulky for my liking. I got these instead and love the size, sound, and had all the input options I need. I use on a Fluance RT82 turntable with dj pre ii preamp.

This is a budget “audiophile grade” powered speakers with right setup This is my HiFi combo set Raspberry Pi 3a+ powered by Volumio latest version Syba SD-DAC63115 DAC IsoAucoustics ISO-130 speaker stand Kanto YU Vocals from YU are warm and has a good image. Soundstage is not very wide but still “sound coming from the speakers box outside” Mids and highs is very crispy. It is very good for listening some Acoustics music such as piano, gittar etc. bass is punchy but lack of sub bass due to size of the speakers, but listening R&B music is not bad. EG: Another day in Paradise by Brandy, YU provides rich & rhythm sound. You will sing with Brandy & Ray J Unconsciously. :) Overall Kanto YU provides soft and Melodious sound. It is enough power to fill a 200 sq. feet living room full of music It is suitable for listening most of pop, rock & vocals music but classical cause soundstage not wide enough. This is the first time for me to buy a powered speakers, I have a pair Stirling LS3/5 a V2 BBC monitor. Kanto do the great job with reasonable price, respected. It is a starter for guy who wants to listen “real audiophile sound”, not Apple HomePod

I tried four outdoors bluetooth speakers first, but they all had problems until someone suggested a shelf speaker. I really wanted it more for my living room than outside anyway. It came down to going for the best sound. So, I came across Kanto YU shelf speakers which has top of the line APTX Bluetooth, standby mode, has wires between speakers for better connection, and is recommended for Smartphones. I have iPhone XS. 1) Get Amazon Music instead of Youtube first thing (3 month free trial)- Major difference! 2) Then place speakers on table height above floor about 15' apart, each facing towards you. 3) Adjust base and treble and keep balance midrange. Not too much base!

I like them a lot. Paired them with a dac so I could connect to my PC over USB with these. Good sound, bass is what you'd expect from speakers this size. Recommend buying a subwoofer. Look great.

I could not hook these speakers up with my Roku television. But I have these speakers on my other television and they are awesome..

I bought these to use as computer speakers that I could listen to all day while working from home that had sound quality similar to my open-back headphones which can get tiring to wear all day long. I also wanted something that had a clean, modern look, and I didn't want to pay more than $250. In the end it was a toss up between these and the smaller YU2s. These are basically the YU4s with less features (that I didn't need anyway) for close to the same price as the YU2s, so the choice was a no-brainier for me. First off, these are much larger than I thought they would be, the picture attached is them sitting next to my 32-inch monitor. I have a large desk, so it was no problem fitting them, but if you have a small desk or limited space, I would recommend going with the smaller YU2s. I have these connected to an FX-Audio Tube pre-amp, which is connected to a DAC that is connected to my computer via optical cable. They are placed on angled stands about 3 feet apart. I listen to a fairly wide variety of music including: classical, ambient electronic, rock, industrial, and contemporary. While they sounded pretty good out of the box, they really started to open up once I applied some EQ settings on the computer and found the right balance between the pre-amp's volume control and the speaker's built-in volume control. Once I got the settings just right, these things sounded phenomenal. The bass isn't going to shake the floor, but it's tight and precise, not "thumpy" or distorted, the highs are not harsh and fatiguing even after listening for hours at a time, but what I really like is when I close my eyes I can pick out the location of each instrument like they are floating in space. The angled speaker stands are definitely a must for desktop use to get the best sound staging out of these.

This set of powered speakers is a great deal for the price. They sound really good and are quick to connect over Bluetooth. Makes great desktop/computer speakers.
