Pre de Provence Beurre De Karité Moisturizing Collection, Shea Butter Enriched Nourishing, Hand Cream, 75ML, Original

I had found a similar type of hand cream when I was in the South of France and wasn’t able to find a replacement here. The one I had was lavender scented and came in a tin tube, definitely old school design. This brand PreProvence looks very similar , also comes in the tin tube . It’s a thick cream and the scent I bought “ NaturalShea Butter or Buerre de Karate” smells divine. It smells fresh and not flowery. I LOVE it and will continue to buy it on Amazon Subscription.

I think it's the shea butter. I love this lotion. A very little dab will do a great job and is not greasy. However, it has really increased in price in the past two years, like many things. Found a similar lotion at Trader Joes with the same amount of shea butter, for under $10. I've ordered it, but not tried it yet. Some of my friends don't like the smell but I'm good with the Original Scent. I do not like the others.

It smells great, not overwhelming I just wish the tub was bigger!

Purchased the Verbana scent last spring after running out of L'Occitane hand cream. At almost half the price, I wanted to see how it compared. The lemon/citrus scent was refreshing, but the cream felt a little greasy compared to the competitor's brand. When I ran out of Verbana, I decided to try the Original. I enjoy the scent of the Verbana only slightly more; however I prefer the consistency of the Original cream. Leaves my hands with a very clean and moisturized feeling. A little goes a long way. Lovely product.

I’ve bought this many times. The fragrance is light but lovely. It soaks in quickly and leaves my hands soft. I live in the desert Southwest so that’s amazing.

Expensive, but nice moisturizer. Metal tube makes it hard to get every last bit out of the container.

I have been using this Hand Cream for a while now because it is fast absorbent, not oily and really makes my hands smooth and feels good. But a few weeks ago one of my friends asked me if I had laser done on my hands because I have no age spots, even though I am always in the sun. (I am 75 years old) That is when I looked at my hands and realized, my age spots are gone!! I did not use anything on my hands, other than the Hand Cream, I started paying attention and I have to say: No age spots on my hands!!! I do not know if the Cream has done this, but since I am NOT USING ANYTHING else on my hands, it has to be the cream.

Normally I buy the lavender scented one of these shea butter hand cremes, but with the original scent being almost half the price I thought I'd try it out. It's not bad at all. Obviously same high quality moisturizing cream, it has a faint baby powder smell. Not that strong. Some reviewers said it was like walking into a nursery so I was a little worried, but actually it's really mild. Probably better for work anyways because we aren't supposed to wear heavy scents around patients, so this is perfect for that. Would buy again.
