GhostBed Faux Down Pillow - Down Alternative with Breathable, Cool Microfiber Gel - Standard Size

I was really hoping this would be the pillow for me. I'd been recommended it by an acquaintance.However, this pillow goes REALLY flat in the night. It is less comfortable, and goes flat faster than the $15 pillows that I found at walmart.The pillow casing that it is supposed to be kept on also has BIG embroidery all across one side of the pillow. This, unfortunately, makes it so only one side of the pillow can be comfortably slept on.It's just a really bad pillow design.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my son to help him transition to back sleeping as he'll be starting an orthodontia routine that involves an appliance being worn for sleep. Given the size of the pillow, it was the biggest box under the tree.Suffice to say, a 9 year old and his active imagination will think it's anything but a pillow, so his initial feelings were not great. But once he slept on it the first night, he immediately changed his opinion and said it was his favorite gift. Why?This thing is a cloud. We got the synthetic down fill version, and it just cradles the head perfectly, but is solid enough he can use it as a bolster when reading before bedtime. I cannot stress enough how comfortable this pillow is, so much so that my wife is getting one as well.The embroidery on the one side hasn't been an issue for my son, but I can see how others would find it problematic. I might encourage you to get a slightly thicker pillowcase and see if that helps.

I used to always wake up with headaches. I have not woke up with a headache since I got this pillow.

I bought this pillow on Amazon Prime Day and have discovered that the sleep trial doesn't apply. Returns must be made though Amazon. However, since GhostBed shipped the pillow, they have to honor the return. Because I purchased from Amazon, they won't do that.This faux down GhostPillow is tolerable but not ideal. It is medium loft, not soft; there is way too much filling for someone who likes a soft pillow, and it doesn't squish into position like a down pillow does. Only the side without the logo has cooling fabric. Although that feels cool to the touch, this pillow is not cool when you sleep. And all pillowcases do not fit; it ripped the fabric on my favorite old satin pillowcase. On the positive side, this pillow didn't have an offensive odor.I had hoped this pillow would be comfortable. Perhaps it would be for some, but not for me. I am oh-so-glad that I didn't buy a mattress!

Does not stay cool very long. About 10 minutes and it's warm.

The firmness is perfect but you can sleep on only one side of this pillow. The other side has a very large, thick, hard embroidered, "Ghost Pillow" that you can certainly feel when you lay on that side. I like half of these pillows. If there was a way to give 2.5 stars, I would. Another issue is that the embroidered logo shows a bit through pillowcases. Please don't make the mistake I did by assuming the product photo on Amazon shows a removable logo on it. My bed is now an advertisement for Ghost Pillow if the pillows are face up.

The pillow arrived packaged well. It goes flat half way through the night. It didn’t provide good support. I am back using my Walmart pillow.
