This retracting leash for use on our miniature Schnauzer for outside tie-up works great. It is a quality made product and came with mounting hardware. The retracting cable is really nice in eliminating tangles and knowing where the end snap is located. It has been in use now for about a month and I'm totally satisfied with it. I have it secured to an exterior brick wall corner of out covered back porch near the back door. With neighborhood covenants limiting fencing at my particular location, this allows us to let our dog out do 'do her business', and/or 'soak up some atmosphere' for a short period of time. She (our dog) is an 'inside dog', is taken for walks and/or potty breaks by us mostly, but there are those times when 'tying her outside' is required and/or more desired (late nite, e.g.). This Flexi-6 Automatic Tie-Out meets and exceeds my expectations and works great for us.

I bought this green Flexi Tie-Out for our dog's cable run. The cable runs from our back porch down to a tree in the back yard, about 100'. The Flexi hangs on a rolling trolly and gives our dog great freedom and keeps him from getting tangled in shrubs and trees. I have had this same model Flexi Tie-Out in red for FIFTEEN years (I'm not exaggerating) and it still works great. It doesn't recoil quite as strongly, but it's still perfectly usable. I really didn't need to replace it yet, but I guess I like shopping online a little too much. Flexi makes very strong reliable products. I also have a handheld Flexi leash which I've had for about as long. I got them both when my dalmatian was a puppy and she died in March at 15+ years old. I would never buy another brand recoiling leash.

I have 2 jack russells - each are about 17 pounds. Yes, this does have a bit stronger of a rewind tension (when compared to a standard hand-held retractable leash); however, that's what you want in this case to make sure that it stays taught enough to not go slack and get tangled around obstacles (or the dogs legs!).I bought 2 of these, and connected them to the same trolley. The dogs love it - they can go about 15 feet left and right over the length of the trolley line (about 100').Once your dog gets used to the additional tension (which took my dogs about 15 minutes!), you won't have any second throughts.

These are adorable, they come in a cute bag, great for gift giving. I bought these for my little niece. She loves them, no chemicals, and they really soothe her little gums. So glad I bought 2 sets!

I had the standard over head line with a leash attached to it, but the dog kept getting hung up in the leash. So I tried using a standard retractable leash, but it didn't work that well, but was better than a standard leash...so when I saw this I thought perfect and perfect is right!!! It works great!!! I do not recommend this though if you have a smaller dog.

Flexi 6 has been with me for a while now and has retained in the parameter of my badly fenced garden my two shar-peys. They are very powerfull dogs and they tug on it with a lot of force but the mechanisam holds on for over 9 years now!!!! :-D I just had to shorten the lead 10 cm, cause the dog chew the plastic of the wire and it was rasting so I was worried it would break off.It can be put higher up so that it does not break my plants around,knock about garden furniture or hurt my little dogs (chihuahuas) when they run about. The Flexi retractable tie out it great. My dog doesn't get tangled up in the tie out because it retracts nicely as she gets closer to the base of it. I have 2 different hooks that I tie her to in different parts of the yard. I have one in the ground and it is high enough to retract properly. The other is on the side of our porch post. Neither is the hook that comes with it. I am very pleased with the product.

Perfect! Heavy duty but still thin and light enough for my whippet. Unwinds and winds with ease. I also like the length.
