Ring Alarm 7 Piece Starter Kit with x2 Contact Sensors and x 2 Motion Sensors

What a waste of time and effort. Set it up. Would not pair with any of the devices. Couldn't even get step one finished. Plus.. I don't know how I would have charged the unit. It didn't have a charger with it.. was I meant to buy one to go with the system?? Even got a friend who recommended this unit to try his phone.. nothing.

I was quoted £900 by my local alarm company to put up a system which is identical to this ring kit in almost every way. In fact, the ring kit required less hardware for the same protection as the app integration negates the need to use a “fob station”.Ring products really do set themselves up. All you need to do is place the sensors and you are up and running. Sensors come with corner mounting brackets with a screw or sticky pad fixture option (nice touch).I also added the external ring claxon as a deterrent and it finishes the kit off nicely.Adding new sensors etc along the way is so easy it’s ridiculous. Saved myself £600 and very happy with the finished solution.

Unbelievable features for the price. Dead easy to install and set up. Two downsides here:1) Keypad and base station voice announcements are never in sync, which is annoying. Ended up muting the base station2) base station requires a 3 pin plug which might seem more convenient than hard wiring, but means it has to be mounted near a socket as no hard wire option and leaves a trailing cable along with using up an outlet

‘Ummed and ahhed’ about buying this, but I’m so glad that I did. Easy to set up, great customer support and seems to work really well. Feel safer knowing that I have that extra level of security on my house, it also works well with my Ring doorbell. Recommended.

All I can say is read the instructions. An amazing product and easy to install. A slight issue on the keypad installation but Ring customer service soon had me up and running. So pleased I bought this.

The alarm system works fine easy to install and easy to set up. Could do with being a little louder but serves its purpose.Nice and plug and play. Can add most things from the range at a later time.

Great system, easy to install with step by step instructions from your Ring App. No hard wiring and no wire's apart from plugging in the base station. Highly recommended.
