Honestly Top Tier
I've been searching for a high-quality vegan omega-3 supplement to support my skin, hormone balance, and bone health — and Sports Research Vegan Omega-3 checks all the boxes. What makes this stand out is the potency. Each serving contains 1400mg of algae oil, delivering 980mg of DHA + EPA, which is rare for plant-based options. Most vegan omegas fall short on EPA (essential for anti-inflammatory support), but this formula includes both, making it ideal for those targeting hormonal breakouts, joint health, and skin clarity.Since switching to this, I’ve noticed my skin feels more hydrated, and my breakouts (especially around the jawline before my period) have started to calm down. It also gives me peace of mind knowing I’m supporting my bone health long-term--- especially since I plan to pair it with vitamin D3 + K2 and a collagen supplement.Bonus points for being:Vegan, gluten-free, non-GMONo fishy aftertaste (No Fish! Lol)Sustainably sourcedGreat Lemon Smell (I chose the Lemon Scent)If you're looking for a clean, effective, and powerful plant-based omega-3, I absolutely recommend this one.

Reviews purporting sunflower/seed oil are wrong
The standard omega 3 version I received from Amazon, Whole Foods, iHerb or Vitamin Shoppe do not list sunflower oil or seed oils, as you can see in the photo. Nor is it listed for that product on the Sports Research website. I cannot speak for other versions (e.g. any older versions, omega 3 + vitamin D, or omega 3/6/7/9).As a vegan, my omega 3 level was slightly deficient based on blood tests, despite eating a lot of chia/flax/hemp seeds daily. Taking 2 of these a day seem to have helped the dry skin on my hands and I hope is imbuing other benefits. I look forward to a repeat blood test to track the change in level.

A great choice of vegan omega 3
This algae oil is potent and bioavailable. A very good source of vegan omega 3. It might have a smell but this is because it is natural. Nothing to worry about. Overall excellent product.

Great vegan option!
Hard to know what it is actually doing, but great to have a vegan option for this recommended supplement!

Recommend it
Little pricy but a good quality product. EPA and DHA high enough. After a little research most web sides recommended this brand.
