Helped tone too white highlights and blend with copper hair!!
I’ve been copper for a couple years and recently decided to go a butter blonde. My natural is light brown. We did a couple full highlights on my hair and it just felt like some highlights were too white and it really clashed with the remaining copper. After reading a lot of reviews I got the light blonde shade to use and hopefully at least at a tiny bit of warmth to the white bits to have everything blend better during this transition. I applied it to clean damp hair and left it for 10 mins. It’s a subtle but superrr effective change. I feel like my hair looks more even and the tone is way more flattering. Yes my hair isn’t perfect how I eventually want it but this is much better in the meantime until all the copper is gone and a slightly lighter and more butter blonde can be achieved. If your hair is too white/processed and want a richer warmer blonde I would recommend this!!!

Apply to dry hair and it covers grey hairs!
For strongest application apply to DRY hair. I’m 50yo and haven’t been to the salon in a while to get my new grey coverage retouched. I needed them covered for an event and didn’t have time for an appt so tried this. I was a little sloppy when applying it but where it was applied it covered my greys! Washes out in a few shampoos.Wear gloves, and again, apply to dry hair. Try to saturate everything you want color on. You’ll get your moneys worth like this.

Conditioning, but Hoped for More Pigment
Overall, this is a good product and I think my criticism may be slightly operator error in shade choice. My hair sits between needing Light Brown and Medium Brown. I am starting to grey, but I don't want to get professional color, and I no longer do DIY balayage to make those greys less obvious. This is a lower-effort, lower-risk option for me.I'm pleasantly surprised by how conditioning this is - usually products like this have conditioner as an afterthought to color depositing, but my hair feels pretty good after using. It doesn't do much to the rest of my hair, but I have to leave it on for 20+ minutes to put even the slightest dent into my (few, for now) greys. I hoped for a little more punch.I'm going to try the Medium Brown and see how it goes - maybe the answer is somewhere in the middle, mixing the two.

Added copper tint to dark brown hair; dyed scalp orange; washed out in one week
Wanted to try a penny-like copper on my completely virgin medium/dark brown hair. I figured a gloss like this in Copper would be a good temporary way to test out whether or not I liked the color, but didn’t have high expectations starting with quite a dark base color. I did a strand test first using hair from my brush and it seemed to give it just a tint of copper, so I took the plunge on my whole head.I used a clarifying shampoo in the shower, then applied this with gloves on very damp hair and clipped it up for the rest of my shower, about 15 mins, then rinsed out. I have fine, thin hair about 4” past my shoulders and used about 1/5 of the bottle for this. I was pretty surprised by how long it took to rinse out - pink/coral water just kept coming and coming with no end…I felt like I was rinsing all the color out! Finally I decided I couldn’t rinse any longer...And got out of the shower to see my scalp dyed bright Halloween orange! So it was back in the shower and did some more scrubbing and rinsing to try to remove the scalp stains (which helped a little but my scalp was very much still bright orange for multiple days afterwards - thank goodness I did it on a weekend where I didn't have to be anywhere). Once dry, I could see my roots tinged ever so subtly red-copper but there was absolutely nothing on my lengths or ends. I figured maybe my base color is just too dark for this color, but decided to try one more time. The second time, I decided to apply it to dry hair to see if that would help it take more color. I applied it dry (used much more product this time, about 1/3 bottle) and let it sit for about 30+ mins before rinsing it out in the shower (no shampoo). Same rinsing scenario - I must have been under the water for 10+ minutes doing nothing but rinsing and rinsing, and coral pink was still pouring from my hair until I eventually gave up. So don’t expect this to rinse clear! You can see the results from my photos - you can definitely notice a red/copper tint to it, which was more obvious in person and in direct sunlight! I imagine if you’re starting with a lighter base color, you’d definitely see more result. No real noticeable results in terms of glossiness, softness, nor shine, but my hair is fairly healthy to begin with.Besides my scalp being orange for days, another big con was the fragrance: I’m used to using all fragrance-free products so the smell of this was incredibly perfumey to me. The nights after using it, I kept waking up feeling like I and my pillow were just engulfed in this strong perfumey fragrance. Would have been much nicer if it had no added fragrance and that alone makes me hesitant to use it again. It washed out to the point where it wasn’t noticeable anymore after only about 3-4 washes. I wash my hair every other day so for me this meant it lasted only about one week. And I had to use a towel and pillowcase I didn’t mind getting stained the whole time since so much color poured out every shower and it was staining my white towel (luckily this came out in the wash).Overall: since my base color is already quite dark and it only lasted about 1 week on me, I can’t say it would be worth using this again. The scalp staining and the fragrance make it even less worth it. But it definitely worked for a subtle tint. Apply it dry for the most color deposit. And if you’re starting with a lighter base color, I imagine the results could be pretty dramatic.

Works wonders for less visits to the salon.
I am currently in the process of getting back to my natural hair color after being platinum blonde for 2 years!!! I recently went to a stylist and she made me hair look absolutely amazing!!! As expected and she also explained because my base is basically all bleached that the color would wash out easily and the blonde would be again noticeable soon, after a couple of washes after my salon visit I noticed a lot more blonde in my hair again which is obviously no one’s fault but just the process of growing out bleach but I discovered this product and it really helped tone down the bleached parts and made me feel happy with the work she did on my hair, personally I do not mind re applying often since I am used to using purple shampoo but I would imagine a product only left on hair for 3-20mins would wash out quick. Also I completed washed my hair to clean and seriously rung out ALl the water completely even did a towel twist mid shower to ensure my hair was DAMP, I sectioned my hair and applied evenly from root to tips the process probably took around 15-30mins and I let the product sit for an extra 10 minutes. Definitely helpful when you’re trying to cut back on salon visits. I mixed light brown and dark blonde to achieve my desired shade.
