Is this double insulated?

No, it is not even singularly insulated. Pretty but mainly a champagne holder, does not keep cold. A shame since height and look is perfect. It also rusts pretty quickly.

How do the handles screw in?

The handles screw in is simple. Hopefully the attached video shows you the placement of screws. It only takes 2 screws, one on each side. I have had this for a few years now and it looks great. I like to use it in the house and my back yard. Family and friends always give compliments. The bucket is removable and you can place the bucket on a table or just leave it on it’s stand. Either way it looks great.

What is the diameter of the bottom of the bucket?

I’m answering this because Alejandro is my favorite name in the whole world. The bottom of the bucket is 6 inches. I’m glad you asked because the last time I used it I must’ve dripped champagne underneath the bucket and there was all this white mold. So, make sure you wash it and dry it after every use.
