Got the paint off glass and does not scratch

The plastic razors will be used for furniture restoration.

Arrived with razor blades in both scrapers. But the replacements are plastic scrapers, not razor blades. Not as advertised.

I’ve been using metal razor blades in this type of scraper for many years and thought I’d see how the plastic blades preformed. I was pleasantly surprised that they not only preformed well and cost less than the metal ones but I didn’t have the added risk of the blade snapping as they are more durable than metal blades.

Brought this as I needed another scraper and some blades to use with a specific material which I didn’t want to contaminate with anything from other scrapers.Of the 2 scrapers that were in the pack, one was missing the screw and bolt to clamp the blade in place, the scrapers are nice in the hand but have a lot of flex to them.The blades are OK, but as with the scrapers quality control is clearly an issue as loads of the blades had casting errors, flashing on the edges which stops them going in the holder, and flashing on the live edge which renders them useless for the purpose they were made for.Overall they could be a good package, and some they send out probably are, but be aware the quality of what you may receive is very variable.

I didn't have really high hopes at this price but was very pleasantly surprised. Used to remove a lot of double sided tape from a series of double glazed glass windows , much safer than my previous razor blades and a lot less scratches. If you need a tip, use a hair drier (a hot air gun is too aggressive) to soften the glue and outer tape as you go it makes the job far easier. Lots of spare blades which I changed frequently to keep an edge and as they are double sided it makes no sense to keep trying a blunt blade. Would buy again when needed.
