Runs large. I am 6’1 185lbs wear a 32 or 33 waist in jeans and ordered a medium and still need to tie the strings. The quality is good but they are heavy, which isn’t a bad thing just not the ideal shorts for a hot summer day. Early morning and later in the season as it cools these are great. These are not a breathable short. Guys - there’s not much room for your manhood in these. And the compression all around left some to be desired as well. HOWEVER the phone pocket works well. I’m using an IPhone 13 Pro Max and it fits and stays in the pocket nicely. Overall these were good for the price and I would consider them again for sure if the price remains low.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Bought these for running, especially longer runs as the zipper pockets can hold chews or gels, and the cell phone pocket is very secure; you actually forget your phone is there. They are comfortable and the stretchy “base layer” stays put without riding up during a run. I did find, however, that they are significantly heavier than other running shorts. I almost always go out with the 7” Under Armor men’s running shorts, and these just feel like a major weight compared to the UA shorts. It’s the only drawback for an otherwise good pair of running shorts.

The shorts are extremely comfortable and well fitting. Well made also. Could have been made without the zipper pockets, but that is just my opinion. Highly recommend! It fits to size.

These are the best workout shorts that I have found on Amazon. They are made well and the fabric is soft and comfortable. What sets them apart from most of the other workout shorts is that they have zippered pockets on the external part of the shorts so all of your stuff don't hit the floor every time your knee is raised above your hip. I have several pairs of these and have been using them for several months and they wash and wear well even after multiple washings and wearings.

These are great shorts but they run small around the waist. I have a 32 waist and they are very tight around the waist. The elastic is very strong so it tends to pinch. No need for a drawstring with such tight elastic. Other than that they are nice shorts. But I won’t be buying again. I prefer shorts that can be adjusted around the waist.

I purchased these shorts for a very specific reason. I plan to vacation in Europe this summer, and the zipper pockets will deter pickpockets. Thin wallet with cash / credit cards/ drivers license, iPhone and passport can all fit in the 3 pockets w/o bulging. The 1 and 2 star reviewers are correct. The zippers are inexpensively made and pockets are small. Since I don't plan to use the zippers until this summer, the zippers are not an issue. From a comfort, very comfortable. Wore them to hot yoga classes. They stretched when I stretched. Wicked sweat away. One note: Order one size up, despite what the sizing guide and Amazon recommend. I wear XXL in Under Armour and ordered 3XL in these shorts. Other than the zippers, they appear to be durable and are comfortable if you order the correct size.
