It works very well. It's slightly difficult even for the adults who visit to open my doors. You definitely can't open the door in a hurry, and they're hard to remove once placed on the door knob, which is a little annoying but kind of the whole point of having them. My toddler is extremely smart and can unlock and open doors on his own, but he can't get through any doors with these in place.

These door knob covers are great to keep our kiddos safe. The first place we put one of these is on the door to our basement. It's right near the living room and kitchen, so our kids are always walking by it and you will hear them spin the cover. That means that they are reaching for the door knob...These are simple to install and simply snap together. You have to reach through the cutouts in the cover to grip the door knob, and turn it. It can be challenging if you aren't paying attention or if you have something in your hands, but it's worth it if it keeps the kids from falling down the stairs.

My 2 year old is very adventurous and tries to open every door in the house. These things work perfectly for that and now we can keep her contained without running out the front door or getting into everything!

Have twins running around, and they finally learned how to open doors. This is a must; no questions asked. It is a simple device that just works.

The product seems well-made and is reasonably priced. Unfortunately, it didn’t fit the door knobs in my old-style apartment, which might be the reason. If you need a style that works for your knobs, I recommend Dreambaby. With my middle child, we thought we were done having kids, but we now have another baby! Thankfully, I found one knob protector left on a closet door and saw it was Dreambaby. If you have standard knobs, this product should work great. If not, Dreambaby might be a better option.

We recently purchased the Safety 1st Parent Grip Door Knob Covers to keep our little one safe from accessing rooms we wanted to keep off-limits. While the product does a great job of preventing children from turning door knobs, it can be hard even for some adults.Takes some practice to remove the cover from the door when done.

Great for my my mom who suffers with Lewy Body Dementia. My mom can’t open the doors!
