Big Nate: Welcome to My World (Volume 13)

We discovered Big Nate from another neighborhood boy & my boys LOVE, LOVE these books! I cannot lie, I LOVE them too! They are SO SUPER funny to the boys & to the adults (maybe not always in the same way). This one is actually just the comic strip from certain parts of the year, so not really a 'book' so much as just 'segments' of the comic strip from the paper. BUT, it still sort of follows a story 'arch' and it is still REALLY funny! My 5 yr old will 'read' it (mostly looking at the pictures & I then read it to him) & he thinks its funny. My 8 yr old reads it to himself & loves them. So, good for many ages. But reading level is at least 3rd grade level, I would say (for independent reading).

I love at the end when a kid’s like, “ Are you a smurf?” And then Nate’s like,“Why does he think I’m a smurf?” And then a girl is like, “Ooh! Are you a smurf like me??” And then Nate’s like, “Why, yes I am!” And then Francis is like, “Quick costume change.” I laughed for a whole 3 minutes!!! I actually love love LOVE your books, Lincoln Peirce! And along with your Max and The Midknights!

Best book series ever! I really enjoyed reading this book I like the good humor of this book that it provides. This is the second best in the book series the best one is dibs on this chair so you could go check that book out this is good good good good author the author is amazing

This book is definitely the best one in the series. As usual the illustrations are great and the jokes shine. This book is strongly recommended for any age!!😀

It was really funny. We request for everyone to read it too. At the end of the book it was really funny there was a lot of funny stuff into it it was really cool!

I bought this for my son's kindle fire. I was worried it would be all text and not as fun to read as the paper back books. I was wrong, this kindle version was not only full of pictures, but the pictures were in full color. He loves Big Nate and this book did not disappoint. As usual, my 9 year old son refused to put the book down until he'd read the entire thing.

My friend's boy really loves reading the Big Nate series, and Big Nate: Welcome to My World was one that he had yet to still get his hands on. In this book, Nate has the opportunity to bring his grandparents to school for Grandparents’ Day, and they have a blast of a time. This book is targeted towards middle school readers, and therefore, not only is this book relatable but it also offers a varied selection of new vocabulary to learn for the younger readers. The motivation to learn these new words is especially high when children are taking a crack at understanding the humor that makes this series great!Ultimately, I can only continue to recommend this book because it is relatable, educational, and funny.P.S. Kids love it and how we do things that can be done with the other things that you make and your own life can do so much to yourself to do what we want and we need you and you to do it for you we can be a good one we will take a long long and time for a better life than ever before you do it again we can be the same we all have a little hope that we will take the action and you will take the long long run

Really funny, has some great laughs. Same quality jokes as the other big nates. My 17 year old likes it as well.
