Works great but as others have said the power supply is reverse barrel connected? But I did try a standard barrel connector (12V center pole negative) and it worked?

Had to do a little adapting but works great once installed

Macro light, hand held; some interference with tripod mount, not fatal but significant, for example the Polaroid shoe mount is not compatible when ring light is in place.

Performance is ok! Not the very best thing but it works

I purchased this LED light and an AmScope AD-38 ring adapter to use with my old Bausch & Lomb Stereo microscope. Everything fits well. The variable light intensity can be adjusted from minimum to very bright. I think this is a great buy for the cost compared to the other lights I considered purchasing that were more expensive. Some of the other reviews of this light indicated the amount of screw thread in the plastic housing may not be sufficient but I have not had any problems with it. I am very pleased in being able to get my old microscope up and running again with this light.

Very GOOD microscope stereo light. Easy to use and will be buying more!

The light seems to be of good quality except for the brightness of the light

It fitted well to my vintage olympus microscope. It works well enough. Plastic is a little flimsy. The box it arrived in had the product stickers removed leaving rips in the carboard and the corrigations exposed. It looked as though it was a return that had been resold.
