Scenery

One of my favorite Vinyls.
It took a while to get this because it was expensive elsewhere. But I finally got the vinyl copy here with a gift card and I wasn't going to miss the chance of getting it. I heard of Ryo Fukui for the first time on YouTube when I was looking for some good piano jazz music. "It could happen to you" was the first piece of music I ever heard from him and I loved every second of that track. Ever since my sister got the digital album on iTunes and I was in love with it. I knew I had to get the vinyl version and it sounds just great. "Willow weep for me" and the album titled track "scenery" are also on of my favorites. But my second favorite behind "it could happen to you" is "Autumn leaves". I have to also give a mention to Ryo Fukuis band mates Bass player Satoshi Denpo and the drummer Yoshinori Fukui. Those two helped brought this album to life and made it one of my favorite albums. If you are curious about collecting vinyls this is one to add to your collection. But for the love of god don't be those people that just buy it to look at and never hear it. You do the record and vinyl community a huge disservice by not hearing it the way it was intended to be heard.

Classy Piano Jazz
I listen to this album every morning I go to work, and every evening I get off and drive home. Perfectly sets the mood for the day, and when I want to relax at my desk or just sit back and rest my head for a bit. Ryo Fukui is a talent no one should overlook.
