Works great for intermitent jobs
Shoots like a 6" arc. I used it to experiment with and it was not sturdy enough for that.

Shocking Results!
It is actually a great HV PS, only one thing, the output polarity is not marked, this will not matter in most applications, but becomes important when trying to conduct experiments. A 9 Volt battery will drive it.

Worked for making electret
Through the use of other components I was able to make a wax based electret. So the device does work overall.

DOA
Not like the picture. Two halves taped together which arrived split and one wire was not connected to a terminal at the split. Totally unusable as well as deceptive. Also, no way to mount.

Works Great as a Piezo Igniter Replacement in our Camper
We replaced a broken mechanical piezoelectric igniter on the stove in our camper. Need to wire in 12V and a switch but only took an hour or two to get it all set up.
