Great head unit, OEM, installed easily, works correctly. I want to address some complaints from other reviews: 1) "Needs an adapter for the OEM camera" -- Yes, and that is stated in the description. ALL RCD330s use a composite video input (RCA). US/Euro VW headsets use RGB Cameras. You can get a $50 adapter from Scosche, or run a new camera with an RCA output. 2) "Had to mess with my airbag wires" - WHAT? This is literally a plug-and play that --at most-- requires 12V/GND for the video adapter (see above). If you are messing with other wiring, you did it wrong. 3) "Chinese so it's a copy" -- The OEM Units (like this Densay) are made in China. That's why VW put them in their less expensive cars in their less expensive markets. Could it be a copy? I don't know -- but it looks legit to me, and the fact that it came from China doesn't mean anything. Basically, you're taking a head unit (a good one) meant for the Asian/South American market and putting it in a US/Euro Volkswagen. You can get a fully functional VW head unit for a fraction of the cost of a US/Euro part.

I liked the easy install in my 2010 VW CC. I also like that the screen has a darker background and dims consistent with the dash lights. I am disappointed that it doesn't have Android Auto but the bluetooth works well with my Samsung S10e. It is obvious Chinese reproduction which makes me wonder if there is a better made OEM version available from a more reputable manufacture that might have android auto. I hate supporting the Chinese theft of intellectual property and wouldnt have made the purchase if I knew so before hand. Masking the manufacturer's name with a German sounding company was obviously meant to hide that but the device menu makes it obvious.

Radio reception is non-existent. Sometimes freezes up on Apple CarPlay, 99% of the time I just need to unplug & plug back in to get it working again. Other than those 2 issues, it’s great. Responsive, works with steering wheel controls, maintains sound quality, decent value for money, fit perfectly, connects to device quickly.

I have a 06 VW GTI MKV (North America), this was easy to install and works great with my iPhone XS. To install this you just need a T25 bit and some plastic pry tools for removing the bezel. Careful about prying with too much force. I snapped one of the little clips on the bottom of my dash vent, it went back together ok though. Apply pressure equally on both sides. CarPlay only works when the device is connected via USB which is similar to many other CarPlay devices. You can also connect it via Bluetooth for basic functions like calling and Bluetooth audio. Having maps on my dash has been great too. On the back of the radio you will see two coaxial connections, I only used the white one. It took about 10 seconds for the initial power on. Longest 10 seconds of my life lol.

Item works great for Apple CarPlay. Relatively easy to install. However the included wire to connect with the car’s antenna cable is not compatible for 2013 VW Jetta. Unable to contact sellae. Amazon offers return option only if any missing parts.

This product worked very well, changed the interiors of my VW Passat. I love it. Only downside for me is that, I do have to get a reverse camera. It gets dark when you put your car on reverse but changes back to the screens a few seconds later. Great product. Its worth the money!

I installed it and bam it turned on, I turned off my car happy with the install, but then I came back to test CarPlay, and the radio no longer worked! Idk if it was a bad radio or what but it stopped working after I turned off my car. Also I had to unplug the passenger airbag cable so not only do I have a bad radio, but now I have an airbag code in my dash. Also, stock rear view camera doesn’t work you need an adapter which is $50

Installs easily enough. Plug and play. After a few weeks my car battery kept dying. I ran a parasitic draw test on my vw and found that this car stereo was the culprit. After I returned the stereo the seller charged me a $75 restocking fee. I strongly suggest you look at other car stereo options. Note. This is not an authentic OEM RCD330.

Great product, works straight out of the box. Used it on my VW 2014 Passat. Works with CarPlay and has no issues.

For an older car this is the best upgrade you can do. Apple CarPlay works great. Very easy installation, took me longer to get it out of the packaging. This is a second hand unit not new. Am radio doesn’t work because of the frequency the china uses. I usually listen to the hockey games on AM. Easy fix though, I just listen though my phone. For 500$ it was a no brainer to upgrade to this unit
