Restored my Internet
My internet went down & I traced it to a malfunctioning cable signal amplifier in my attic. I replaced it with the Reliable Cable Products 9 Port Bi-Directional Cable TV Splitter Signal Booster/Amplifier. The install was easy only taking 10 minutes. Plugged my gateway back in & my internet immediately came back up. The hardest part was climbing up into my attic.

Just what was needed
Was told by Comcast I needed a booster after they changed their signal strength. What a difference a booster makes! Internet speed are back where they used to be 4 years ago. (Now to update my router!) ๐๐คช

Power coax not included but works great
My gripe first which is the only reason for knocking a star off - the unit is unusable as packaged because you need a coax to connect the power adapter to the unit. I take it the rational for this is you could install the booster as far as 100' from the power source based on whatever coax you supply - ok, great, but if you don't have a spare coax cable lying around (I did) then you can't install the unit. If nothing else, this should be made totally clear at the time of purchase or in the product description. Yes, technically it says "coax cables not included" but no one would assume this includes the cable needed to power it.K, that out of the way, the unit works *great*. We had a problem with the signal in our house causing some stations to break up constantly. The Tivo reported a signal of 24-27% strength. Removing the existing splitter and going direct got the strength up to a usable 35% but I had to remove my cable modem in the process - obviously not an acceptable solution. So I bought this with low expectations and the knowledge that Amazon would take it back if it didn't work. Well, it does. Signal strength, *with* the modem reconnected more than doubled to 55-57% and all picture issues disappeared. I couldn't be happier.

Well-built
I purchased this product back in 2021 and it's been working in my freezing and 130ยบF attic for 3+ years without any issues. I like that I can connect a single antenna to it and use existing coax lines to 4 bedrooms, a game room, a living room, and a patio. Good product and I recommend it.UPDATE 11/21/2024: I just noticed that, although this is a zero-loss device, it doesn't provide any signal boost. I've ordered another 8-port device that offers a 4db boost to see if it'll improve my reception.

Worked
I was having an issue with my internet. Turned out the original install was incorrect. While it did work it was giving us issues. A little research brought me here and solved the issues.

Still going strong!
The media could not be loaded. bought it in March of 2021... been working great for OTA (over the air)! I am running an old radio shack roof antenna, primarily use amplifier as a distribution splitter Could not be happier ๐ It's June of 2023 now... still going strong! im ordering a "like new" for half price... i will swap out the other one to test it, then try it out on my RV! if it works, going to get another for my son. Ill keep everyone posted! stay tuned! Update! Just purchased my 3rd unit! Signal coming in from a couple of aluminum cans for my RV.. camping at a remote site helping son build a new home.. now works better than the RV antenna!
