Perfect RAM for my system...
Perfect for the Dell Dimension 8300... I had a desktop that was literally collecting dust in the garage - so I decided to boot it up and see if I could use it as a file storage system. Unfortunately, it only had 512kb memory and would not update... So, I decided to use the A-Tech RAM to bump it up. At first installed 2Gb (in addition to the 512kb) - the system started connecting online and updating - I was very happy. Since I know I am limited to 4Gb on this XP machine, I decided to ditch the 512kb and add another 2Gb from A-Tech. With the 4Gb - well, let's just say, this dinasour is roaring. It works so well, I might have to do the same with another 2 machines I have laying around.I did have to make sure that I was purchasing the right type of memory - there have been many changes since the Dimension several years ago and I know I have several systems at home with several "different" RAM requirements in terms of size (PINs), speed etc... Doesn't hurt to do some homework on the machine before ordering - it certainly help me.

Good price, fast delivery, works well
Needed to upgrade the memory on my Dell desktop. This was one of the best prices for the needed memory modules. Installed without issues, except that the memory slot had filled with dust in the intervening years, so initially it seemed like the module was not working. Once the slot was cleaned out, it worked without issues. I have used this brand of memory modules before, and they have worked well.

You can still find DDR memory at a reasonable price.
I needed this DDR memory because I had converted an old dust collecting desktop PC into a home router/gateway/proxy/VPN by employing OPNSense (x86 version). My initial attempt was rewarded with lower than expecting performance. Analysis informed me that the 1 GB of ram pre-installed was not sufficient to run the many additional services without thrashing system that bubbled up that sluggish performance to the LAN users that was very noticeable when multiple users were streaming video, gaming or just general internet usage. Since I concluded that I needed more memory to improve my performance with this box, my goal was to bring the system memory up to 4GB at a reasonable price if possible. After searching the web, I was able to find that Amazon had this difficult to find DDR memory in its massive pipeline. Ordered, received and installed the new DIMM modules and my box is now running beautifully with all the necessary services I desire and no signs of the system struggling with memory related issues but allowing for additional head room to support any other functionality that might want to employ.

Works fine, but results not as good as expected.
As far as I can tell through simple observation, the memory works just fine. It was recognized by Windows and booted just fine. I have no desire to run any sort of formal performance tests to insure that it is working as advertised. The memory was installed on a very old Windows XP system that only had 512MB of RAM. I figured 4 times as much RAM would show dramatic speed/response time differences. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. I'm not sure if there's some other component of the hardware that's holding it back, as I don't think it's the software. When I went from 1 GB to 2 GB on an Asus Netbook (1001PXD) running Windows 7, the speed/response nearly doubled.Anyway, the response times were as follows:Mintues:Seconds 512MB 2GBTime to boot: 3:15 3:15Time to shutdown: 10:10 6:04Firefox Start: 2:56 1:00

Good memory, tested with no errors, improves performance on my old Dell GX270
This memory has worked fine in my old Dell GX270 desktop computer now for several months. At boot time with Ubuntu (Linux) I have the option to run memory tests, which I did and there were no errors with these memory modules installed. These were a good way to improve the performance of my computer since with only 1 GB of RAM previously it had been swapping to hard disk, which is very slow. Now with 2 GB more there's no swaping and I should be able to get another 1-2 years of use out of the computer, which is pretty good for a very inexpensive upgrade.

New Life to old Hardware!
Works flawlessly on my old Gaming PC build from 2006. I stopped using it because it would randomly freeze and it would take forever to recover after it.. I never thought it would have been the dead/defective RAM sticks all this time. Swapped these new sticks of DDR1 PC3200 and it booted up fine like it was yesterday. I highly recommend these if you plan on doing what i did to old hardware. GLHFRockin' that old school Intel Pentium D @ 3GHz, Intel mATX MB, A-Tech 2GB PC3200, MSI AMD R7 250, Antec 750Watt PSU, Cooler Master Case

Works for OBS,IMAC G5 ALS (17-INCH), AKA Apple iMac G5/2.0 17-Inch
I was looking to upgrade the RAM on my OBS,IMAC G5 ALS (17-INCH), and this did the trick nicely (but it was my second try). I used Apple's serial number lookup and then did additional research from there. Apparently there were several different (but similar) iMac models released this same year, and they had significant differences - most notably the type, location, and upgrade options for RAM. My point is, if you're trying to upgrade an old iMac, be very careful with your research and make sure you get the right type of RAM for your machine. This does work on an Apple iMac G5/2.0 17-Inch (sold from May 2005 to October 2005).As for this product - it is working great so far, and I was psyched I could double my computer's memory this cheaply.

Excellent low cost RAM
Works great for the price, will likely be buying another kit in the near future - as in this month. Have had this RAM installed for over a month and have not noticed any errors. This RAM ended up replacing 2GB of RAM from a different vendor which was purchased new last year to support upgrading to Windows 7 but was giving errors resulting in system crashes / blue screens of death periodically. Since the crashes were sporadic, the installation of Windows 7 was new, and a new TV tuner video card was installed wasn't sure what was causing the sporadic blue screens of death until i purchased and installed 2GB of RAM from this vendor. Have not had one blue screen of death post installation, additionally this RAM wouldn't work with previously installed RAM because the old RAM was faulty. Highly recommend RAM from this vendor
