Way Beyond Undergraduate
As a professor who teaches History and Systems for over 12 years I have been searching for a more sophisticated doctoral level text. This is it. I believe it is too sophisticated for a typical undergraduate course. This book goes deeper than the typical history and systems text. This book describes the philosophical underpinnings of psychology - asking students to examine the historical and philosophical roots that have, and continue to have, an impact on the development of psychology. I highly recommend this book for doctoral level students.

Incredibly biased and full of inaccuracies.
This is by far the worst textbook of my university experience. It is so awful that my professor stopped teaching on it and provided alternative materials. We have found multiple grammatical and syntax errors. The historical viewpoints are highly slanted. The authors certainly had an agenda with this text. Various events are presented as "facts" but cannot be otherwise verified by alternative sources. As scholars, we have all come to expect excellent quality from Cambridge University Press. This book however is a great disappointment!
