I bought this watch for my 10 year old. He wears it swimming and in the shower and it hasn't shown any wear and tear yet. The stop watch and alarm is easy enough for him to use all on his own. I would recommend as a child's first watch.and he is absolutely in love with it. It is water proof so he doesn't have to worry about getting it wet when he washes his hands or does dishes. It is easy enough to work that he set the time on it himself and uses the alarm feature all the time. Is a good watch for children to study time.

 My son loves this watch! He's 7 and I love how the wristband is set up that as he grows he can continue to wear the watch. It's perfect for him to keep track of time when he is at soccer practice. Highly recommend

Second Mico watch I’ve purchased. Bought my daughter one for Christmas, and it’s withstood a year of wear and tear by my 13 year old, so I bought one for my 10 year old son as well.- This watch is easy to use everyday, waterproof, drop-proof and stable.- The golden look looks more generous and stylish- Display screen is clear and easy to read time- The alarm clock is a good feature- Inadequacies, the manual is not comprehensive enough, and some features are not explained

My son has been asking me for awhile now for a watch. Last year I got him one of those watches that tracks his steps because he does a Running Club program at his school and was interested in seeing how many steps he would take. Well the watch started irritating him so he stopped using it. I saw this watch and thought he might like it now that he's growing up and might want to move on to a more adult looking watch. He loves the look and feel of the watch and with him growing up, he wanted to start waking up for school on his own instead of having us wake him up so he learned how to adjust and set the alarm clock on his watch. Now the alarm will go off in the morning and wakes him up. He's had it for about a month now and no problem with it.

Original rating was 4 stars and has now dropped to one star. Reason being it switches from digital time to military time without any reason. No buttons pushed. This is very frustrating for my 7 year old grandson. He so likes to tell the time and I am trying to teach him military time. This is a challenge. This is the reason for the rating drop. Any suggestions would be helpful..thanks

Great watch and even better pricing. Last year, we spent $100 on a baby G shock watch for my son, which he lost in about two months. Lesson learned, he only gets inexpensive watches now. I’ve been looking for something similar to the baby G shock and this is far batter. My only complaint is that it doesn’t come with a hard set of instructions. You need to go look them up if you want them, which I am not really trying to do. I got the basics down and set it up, but he wanted to know how to work the stop watch function.
