Twyford Close coupled pan - Cistern Fixing kit (CF8100XX)

Wish I had seen and read other reviews of this item earlier. Perfect fit and no leaks and easy to install.

Pays to get the same make spares as toilet suite. Needed a new flush unit, first one we got was a generic make didn’t fit, then got the Twyfords which is make of toilet. Works perfectly.

Dearer than the alternative but listed for closed coupled toilets. Did the job, hope it lasts.

Essential for the twyford nocturne accelerator. Annoying that you have to buy it separately. The foam piece has been the best fit too. No leakage.

I had to replace the flush on the toilet and the old coupling screws had rusted up so had to replace this also. Bought a flat plate at screwfix, it just bent as you locked it up so first did not seal between the cistern & loo so got leak and second did not pull cistern down to old height to align fixing screws. This one has bends on so keeps its shape, sealed and could use original fix holes. Lesson, buy cheap, buy twice and waste time - had to repeat dismantle and reassembly.

Why did you choose this product over others?: It was 5he right make for my toilet. It was also the cheapest . Fit: The only problem I had was no instructions were given on how to fit the product

If your toilet has one of the pictured plastic extensions at the rear (a Twyfords Nocturne accelerator) only this kit works. The usual rubber doughnuts are too thick and wide. The foam washer in the kit works fine and compresses much more easily than rubber. No leaks.

When my toilet needed repair and had to be dismantled, although I had rushed to a local store to get a universal coupling, which turned out to be useless, the pressure from the household to finish the job was immense....this fitted perfectly first time.
