Pliers, Curved Jaw, Locking, 10-Inch (4935576)

Now I have quite a few Irwin vise grip tools, but needed a few more for automobile tool kits and different job tool boxes. So, picked up a version that I didn't have already. These work just like every other vise grip and are just as sturdy. You can rest assured that these will do the job you need them to do. My two pairs lined up well....had all the parts they are supposed to....and functioned perfectly. Irwin makes a very reliable tool. Never had a Vise grip tool fail on me. I highly recommend them and will buy more when the need arises.

These are by far, the best locking pliers I’ve ever owned. Stronger grip and easier release than any Craftsman, Dewalt, Husky, or Harbor Freight pliers. High quality jaws look ad good as the day I bought them.

Performed a DIY garage door torsion spring replacement with a pair of these. Definitely not the only tools you’ll need, but necessary to hold the rod when winding up the first torsion spring.

Bought to replace old and abused locking pliers. These seem to built a lot stronger and the end of the jaws are a lot thicker and less loose than others I have used. The knob has the ability to be tightened with 5mm hex to ensure a tight lock without straining to close them like others. The ends seem to align well out of the box but only time will tell if they last the abuse I put these through.

Very well made, with good jaw alignment, and great clamping power. The finish is nice, and just a step down from the american-made malco vise grip type pliers that are no longer available.

We're great way better than harbor freight, actually hold on to things.
