This is such a great little toy-and I do mean little. It is very small, but adorable. It looks vintage. Great for kids, but also would be cute to display. I bought this for a two year old and she liked it. Materials are decent quality.

It's a classic
I chose this toy because it was a basic pull toy that will never go out of style. No bells or whistles, just pull the string and it moves. It's important for brain and muscle development; the brain learns cause and effect ("if I pull it moves to me") while the muscles learn how much to pull to get the desired result ("ooh, his ears move more if I pull harder"). Yes, there are flashier toys today, but this one does not distract with flashing lights and music. Granddaughter seems happy with it, and I think it's adorable.
