Metabo HPT is the GOAT💪
These are genuine metabo 4/8ah batteries. When you use them In a 18v tool youd have a hard time using all the battery in a day even as a pro like me. I use them in power hungry metabo 4000 lumen work lights on medium brightness for 8 hours and they still have some battery left at the end of the day.

Not the same Hitachi Quality
I have a number of Hitachi/Metabo OEM batteries. I only buy if Ships & Sold by Amazon. The brilliant Hitachi 3.0ah batteries were flat out the best because of the quality Samsung 30q cells that were used.I just bought this 8/4ah 36/18v Metabo battery and put it on my OEM 8amp charger. The several first attempts to charge the battery out of the package (having a one light charge) rendered a purple light (defective battery warning). After several attempts the battery began to charge and 30 min later, the charger light turned green (charging completed). However, the battery would only charge to 3 bars no matter how many times I tried. Defective. Not what I've come to expect from the green line of tools, that have been fantastic. QC needs to be stepped up, these batteries are not cheap.

METABO HTP has got to be converting so many previously Teal, Yellow, Red, Black, Gray, Orange, Blue, Dark Blue and Light Green customers. The MultiVolt system is for REAL.
