Need to turn on when unlocking the PC
The display is a bit larger than a similar portable screen with battery that I already owned. The cover is nice but the manual states that the cover is held in place with magnets, which is incorrect. The cover is held in place with two thumbscrews. It is correct that the cover is easy to remove if one desires. "Magnet leather case: Leather case built-in magnets, The leather case and monitor are connected to each other by a magnet. The case can be removed at any time." The case is not leather but is a denim type material. These are minor things. The only negative thing besides the manual's errors is that the display must be powered back on by pressing the power button if you lock the screen. I suspect that is a power saving feature but it is a bit annoying. Other than that it is a great portable monitor.BTW: The video shown in the product description clearly shows the touch screen working over HDMI, which is not possible. There was nothing connected to the USB-C connector in the video so it appears some magic was going on. I was aware of this and spotted the issue so I did not expect the touch screen to work with HDMI alone. In order to get the touch screen to work, you must connect HDMI and USB. If using USB-C to USB-C, only one cable is needed as both the video and touch screen are available over a USB-C to USB-C connection. I just wanted to add that in case someone thinks this monitor is capable of some magic. The sound on the monitor is okay but not too loud. If you are hard of hearing, you will need to connect headphones or amplified speakers to the monitor or PC.Pros: Great product as described in the description text and most of the video.Cons: Powers off when locking the PC. Sound is fair but not too loud. Manual and description video have inaccuracies.Overall: Recommend this monitor as it is a good monitor for laptops and mobile phones with USB-C connectors.Footnotes:Tested with older PC and older laptop (Asus Q500A) using HDMI and USB-C to USB-A connections. Display and touch screen worked well on PC but only the display worked on the laptop. I could not get the touch screen to work on the laptop even though the same cable and connection worked on the PC.Tested with Samsung Galaxy S9 Edge using USB-C to USB-C. Both display and touch screen worked well.

Good screen but horrible cables included
The screen is a good bit bigger and heavier than I exspected but given the fact that it is battery powered that is all well within reason. The picture and functionality are good at the price point.I've only had 2 real issues. First the touch screen can be a bit overly sensitive and can wind up detecting taps when you bump the bezel. Don't try to hold the screen by the edges while using the touch functions. Second the cables that come with the screen are basically garbage. If you intend to use the touch screen functionality, get some high quality type c cables. This is even more important when using the type c port for video. The in box cable caused flickering, video dropping and blinking almost constantly. Replacing it with a 4k capable high end type c cable has made the connection to my cell rock solid. The touch function also seems to take a higher quality cable. The factory cable for my cell is spotty but using a belkin aftermarket type a to type c is solid. The only cable worth keeping seems to be the power cable. I've had no issues with it or the screen itself. Overall I would say this screen is well worth the price if you need a portable screen for hdmi or type c devices. Just don't expect the in box cables to give you good results. Also 15.6" screen covers seem to fit so get 1 asap if you want to keep the screen in good shape. Don't expect the included case to prevent all scratches. If you leave the plastic shipping protector on instead, be ready for your finger tips to be raw whenever you use the touchscreen much.Update 4/1/21: I got a new phone and started having issues with the touch function not being available except intermittently. I played around with trying different things until I found a way to get the touch function to work on every type c phone that supports dual screens. It may sound wierd but if you're having issues with the touch not working, turn the screen on before you plug in the power. Then you plug in the power and finally your device. That said, don't use the original type c cable if you can help it. Get the best 4k+ type c cable you can find and be as gentle with the port as you can. Using a higher end cable I've had 0 picture issues and a solid touch panel since I figured out the work around. In fact, I've typed this entire update using the touchscreen connected to an LG G8.

Died after 18 months, no support whatsoever, avoid
Suddenly will not turn on or take a charge after sitting on a desk. Decogear and beach camera support do not care. Don't waste your money like I did.
