I have a large wound in an awkward position on my leg and it hurts very badly when I try to sleep with a regular bandage on it. This foam bandage has eliminated that pain and as a bonus, I can shower with it on and not have to change the bandage because it doesn't get saturated. The foam part is slightly tacky so it adheres to the wound but does not pull or tear it when removed.

These gauze pads are perfect for keeping the wound clean after my brother’s kidney transplant surgery. They kept the site clean and dry, exactly as they were supposed to. His wound nurse recommended these pads, and I’m so grateful for them. They effectively contained all the fluids inside.

We have used these very expensive (but worth it) foam dressings to treat my father's bed sores and they have really worked quite well. We put Silver Alginate cream on the wound first, then put the Allevyn Foam dressing on and it really heals the sores faster than expected. The adhesive is pretty strong so we put a little Vaseline around it with a Q-tip for easier removal since my father's skin is almost onion like now, and we always wear disposable gloves as it will stick pretty fast to anything. Highly recommended although the price could be lower since it's only 10 per box.

These are the only bandages that I can get to stick and stay on the bottom of my foot for a pressure ulcer. It’s also super comfortable and doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin!
